The Trials of Edna Morgan

In the wee hours of a December morning in 1914, fifteen-year-old Edna was poisoned, shot and her body and that of her partially born baby were burned in a neighbor's barn. Her beau, twenty-five-year-old, Roy, denied all acquaintance with her. This is the story of the four trials it took to convict Roy as told by her friends, family and neighbors of the Cow Creek Valley.
