About the Author

K.C. Stewart is the self published author of the Hailey Holloway series and most recently, the Adirondack Pack series. All her life she had fantasized and day-dreamed on a regular basis but it wasn’t until she began writing short stories that she made those fantasies a reality. She has graduated to novels but still dabbles in the occasional flash fiction and short story. Because of her love for reading and the written word, K.C. is currently continuing her education at Clarion University for Library Science. When she isn’t taking photographs, studying or writing, she is supporting a very real gummy bear habit. Currently, she lives with her boyfriend, german shepherds and cats in central Pennsylvania.

Loved the characters of Emilie and Carter from this Zodiac series of stories! Great writing kept me reading and the storyline kept me in the book. Such a great read! Worth every moment of your reading time. Definitely Recommend to anyone who enjoys shifter stories! I've been reading in this series and this one is my favorite so far! I happily received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review for you to consider.

Emilie is a cranky, uptight bear shifter. But when her unassuming and very human fiancee sees the tail end of her shift, he thinks the bear ate her and shoots her! She makes her way towards her twin brother and with the help of his neighbouring Wolf Pack, they set her up with a home, a job and ...bonus a hottie neighbour! Carter is Emilie's neighbour and landlord. He sees little of the reclusive beauty and has to basically corner her to get to know her! But as a cop he knows there is something in her history that is making her so tetchy. But after a slow and rocky start, they begin a hot, passion filled romance. But when Emilie's former fiancee gets charged for her murder, she is forced to return and deal with it and Carter decides to back off whilst she deals with it. But even though she needs space, Emilie also wants Carter's support, which she doesn't seem to be getting. Great read. I did love Carter's kidnap attempts!

Who says opposites don't attract? As a matter of fact, sometimes they can be good for one another. Emilie Williams lives a very boring life with a sweet and boring human fiance that doesn't know she's a bear shifter, but that's the way she's always wanted it because she wants to be in control. Until he shoots her on one of her shifts and she is sent running into the arms of Officer Carter Bennett, a wolf shifter that quite literally takes a breath away. Problem is Carter is the opposite of her sweet fiance, he is all take control alpha male. and he may be just what Emilie needs and Carter is very patient indeed.

4.5 STARS Danger, life-threatening moments, jealousy, a bit of drama, romance, make this a thrilling story. Emilie a bear shifter is independent, sassy and loves her alone time. Carter a sultry wolf shifter has finally met the woman that has captured his heart, however, jealousy and his foolish ego may keep them apart. Loved this story as it was entertaining, intriguing and a wonderful addition to the Zodiac Series. If you treasure shifter stories this is a fabulous book for your library. {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.

The Truth in Love tells the story of a bear and a wolf falling in love. I would love to see their cubs/pups. You know they would be adorable! **SPOILERS** Emilie is a bear shifter in a relationship with a human and she is just going through the motions. The relationship has been over for awhile but she didn't want to hurt him until he shot her. Yep, you read it correctly. He left, she thought he had been gone long enough and shifted but he came back before she could into the woods and thought the bear had eaten her and shot her. Emilie journeys to her brother, Dean, who lives in another town close by. Dean gets a rental set up for her for when she gets there, she can rest and recoup. Carter is a wolf shifter and local police officer that has just gotten is rental ready for his new tenant, ready to go home when the front door slams shut and there stands Emilie naked (she just shifted back) leaning against the door with a leg wound that is clearly infected. This is where it gets good! We have a very stubborn Virgo bear that is also very independent and a wolf that is completely infatuated with her. It takes a little while for her to "open" up to him and things are going really good for them when Emilie finds out that her ex has been charged with her murder. She has to go back and straighten out the situation. She and Dean go back, Carter stays. Carter see a photo in the local paper of Emilie and her ex, he has his arm around her waist, with a caption " Happily back together". When Emilie calls carter that night, he gets very insecure about Emilie and him and suggests a "break" till all this is settled. Which pisses Emilie off and breaks her heart. So of course when she gets home, her and Carter have this big misunderstanding between them and both are being stubborn. Not communicating. Dean finally goes to see Carter to let him know how much of an a** he is being and he better make things right because Emilie is heartbroken but she will go on without him. Then Dean asks Carter if he will be able to go on without Emilie. He needs to decide. I really enjoyed the story. It was believable. Take out the bear and wolf aspect and it was just a guy and a girl coming together but the bear and wolf made it more entertaining. I have read this author before and each story so far has been very entertaining. I have yet to be disappointed. I recommend this book and author! I received a free pre-release copy for my honest opinion and I liked it so much I bought the book!

Very good story. Both Emilie and Carter are stubborn but these two are meant to be together. Carter knows how to deal with her personality he is just a tad--well, full of pride, lol. Emilie is insecure & lonely so realistically like most women that have self-doubt, self-worth issues, she except she really is a bear shifter so that's literal. Very interesting series, can't wait to read what happens next with these shifters. I love how united they are, once I started I didn't put it down.

The Truth in Love: Virgo is the latest instalment in the Zodiac Shifters series. Emilie is the Virgo of the story, going through the motions of being happy with her (human) fiance. Things get interesting for her when he finds her shifting and, not realising that it is her, shoots her. He then declares Emilie is dead. She, being completely alive, makes her way to where her brother lives. She has managed to call him before she arrives, so he knows the story of what has happened to her, and makes it as easy as possible for her to start again. Things get a bit more complicated when Carter, her next door neighbour and landlord, is added to the picture. This is a well paced story that features characters I am already acquainted with. It was a nice touch to see them again, to see how they are faring, whilst actually being vested in someone else. There were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow, and the only hiccups were actually part of the story! This was a thoroughly enjoyable book, and I can't wait to read the next Zodiac Shifters book! Highly recommended by me. * A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Yet again this is another book in the zodiac shifter series that totally grabs your heart and hangs onto it until the very end! This author did a stellar job at allowing me to feel the emotions of the characters. I could tell their stubbornness would inevitably lead to train wrecks but the journey was ever so entertaining reading about it. When the main characters finally reached their HEA, as the reader exposed to their happiness, it was very fulfilling! Perfect characters, engaging storyline, pristine writing, everything you could possibly want in a PNR! Thank you for an excellent read!
