Two journalists are dead and two turtles are missing. Four members of the St. Paul Daily Dispatch staff have received symbolic carved wooden turtles from the Minnesota Ojibwe tribe as rewards for their efforts to defeat a mining company's request for a permit to dig for nickel near the Ojibwe Reservation in northern Minnesota. Now two of the recipients have been murdered and their turtles stolen. Are reporter Warren "Mitch" Mitchell and photographer Alan Jeffrey next on the turtle-jack killer's list?
