The Vampire Witness

Witnesses mean slayers... every vampire knows that. The thought of leaving one behind at a scene is an act of foolishness beyond compare. They must be killed. No question.

But Sam finds herself in a quandary when she realizes a child has witnessed one of her attacks. She doesn't much relish the idea of killing a little girl. But how could she possibly let her live? Sam can't risk her entire existence for the sake of one insignificant little human.
