This is a great collection of music. A classic.

Aaron is performing at his best on this album. His music should remind us all of this New Orleanian's contribution to our truly American music, R&B, jazz, country, etc.

The Very Best of Aaron Neville cd is indeed the very best.It brings fond memories of riding down the highway in my convertible corvette with my then boyfriend arguing over some long forgotten problem and having the beautiful voice of Aaron Neville coming over the radio saying if you want something to play with go and find yourself a toy and us looking at each other and falling out in laughter as it seemed so on the nose of what we were arguing over at that time. And how can you not love the upbeat song Over You,even if it is about long black cadillacs, funeral homes and slow marching relatives?
