On his way to his country estate, beautiful Miss Damara Onslow steps into Lord Worsley’s carriage to speak to him about a matter. Little does he know that “the matter” is to offer him money in exchange for them getting married. Since Lord Worsley’s sister had manipulated him into an engagement he did not want, he welcomes Damara’s offer with open arms.

The two wed and spend a winter together. Never had anyone been happier. That is until his sister pries into Damara’s past and threatens their fairytale marriage.

This storyline is so far fetched; it's unbelievable. Boring. Disappointing. Not going to buy the series.

Great story of Anthony and Tamara. Damara was sweet, both her and Anthony made a great couple. Anthony's sister, Celia was a spoil BRAT. Damara's parents, UGH! Overall good story, some things in the story about how Anthony spoiled his sister...ugh. But at least, both Damara and Anthony had true friends and they complimented each other. HEA ending. Happy Reading! ********vrnb*******

Very sweet. Loved Damara and Anthony's characters. Sweet love story but what a brat for a sister. I just love Ruth Ann Nordin books.

I loved getting to know Anthony. He was introduced in a previous book and I wasn't quite sure what to expect from him. He impressed me with how sweet and kind he is with those he loves. He can be a bit naive because he doesn't expect manipulation and deceit. Damara is genuine in her kindness to everyone. She's hiding her past because it's so painful. I liked how she opens herself up to Anthony knowing that she's safe. Celia and Loretta will be interesting characters to watch as they get their own book. I only hope they turn out to be much better women than they are now. Adult read
