THE VOID
Tala, a timid young woman is pulled out of her small, safe and comfortable life and thrown into an unknown land that will brutally test her senses in every way possible. She has to force herself to go far beyond her belief in her abilities, in order to survive. The story mirrors the author's life, drastically changed at a very young age. She witnessed her country, suddenly faced with an oppressing revolution, and was forced to flee to the other side of the world, and navigate a new life, where people and cultures were foreign and frightening to her.

About the Author

Mandana Boroojeni ( Mandy B.) is originally from Iran. Since early childhood she was fascinated by her grandmother's stories, and later by authors like John Steinbeck, Leo Tolstoy, Mark Twain, and several Iranian authors as well. As a revolution brought chaos to her country, she was forced to leave the country at a young age. She moved to Scandinavia and studied dentistry. Later she travelled to Australia to further her education. She finally moved to the U.S. and eventually settled in Florida. She loves reading, and is a captivating story teller, often told by her listeners that she should publish her stories. Her stories usually stem from dreams, events, or thoughts of her own, or others who are willing to share with her. In 2022 she decided to write "THE VOID", which is based on one of her brother's dreams.
