The Waters of the Yellowstone

This book is an illustrated version of my great-grandfather's diary that Ted wrote when working as a surveyor on the 1878 Hayden Geophysical Survey of Yellowstone.

I was able to associate some of the William Henry Jackson's photographs with Ted's references to Jackson taking the photograph. Ted named some of the lesser geysers and his name appears on numerous maps of the Yellowstone Basin.
