I am a long time fan of her books and all are a good read but the last few books have been fairly blah. Ms Sala's books used to have a strong storyline with angst, emotion and depth. Now her books ramble along spending most of the time listing what the characters are eating, wearing and doing in an everyday life. The majority of this book was this type of filler. She has written amazing books and it is disappointing that her recent books have become so bland.

Blessings, Georgia is a place that I would love to visit, especially after reading this book. Even though I haven't read this series in order, I felt quite at home, and that is in large part due to the excellent, warm writing style of Sharon Sala. Couple that with wonderful characters and this romance is definitely one that I was happy to read and was able to thoroughly enjoy. Sully Raines has returned home to Blessings and runs into old flame Melissa. The reason they are now together may in fact be due to tragic circumstances, but results in a wonderful re-connection between the pair. I love this trope actually, especially considering the way it is done in the story. Melissa often wonders if one ever forgets their first love. Her thoughts on this touched my heart more than once. When she gets a second chance with Sully it is hoped that good things can happen, and that is exactly what readers are treated to in this story. Although this does well as a standalone, other characters are part of the story, and thus there is a nice vibe of family and community. Meanwhile, there is a sentimental part of the story because Sully is in search of his birth mother. Although a retired fireman, his job skills are second nature to him, and that is how he sees Melissa for the first time in this story, as he successfully rescues her from a car accident. So, for a down-home feeling for lovers of romance, with a clean story, but wonderfully effective, do not miss this delightful read by Sharon Sala. Many thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

This was my first visit to Blessings, Georgia, but it most certainly won't be my last. With a heart-warming tale of reconnection as past ties meet the present and filled with the antics of charming small town characters, this title is a delectably entertaining tale that will make you smile and perhaps wipe away a tear or two. Absolutely delightful - I couldn't put it down!!! I received a complimentary copy of this title via Netgalley. All opinions expressed are my own.

The Sweetest Second Chances – 4.5 Stars! As always with Sharon Sala’s stories, your heart strings will be tugged throughout this small-town, second chance romantic adventure! This is book #9 in the Blessings, Georgia series, and this series never disappoints. Give yourself a mini-vacation to Blessings, where everyone looks out for everyone else and even strangers can’t turn their backs on those in need. Even though this is the latest installment in a well-established series, you will have no trouble diving in with this as your first Blessings book, or reading it as a stand-alone. Sharon Sala is a fantastic writer, weaving her magic to bring life to the town and it’s inhabitants in a way that has you convinced you’ve met them yourself! This story is about a man named Sully, who after the death of his mother, is shocked to find out that he was adopted. He feels tethered, and sets out on a journey to find his birth month. The search eventually leads him to Blessings, where everything starts coming together for him in the perfect way that only a second-chance romance can bring. I recommend the Blessings series if you love small towns, reunited soulmates, and HEAs. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher, I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. As a fan of Sharon Sala, I do recommend reading anything she writes!

Story was more filler than action. Very disappointed because S.S. has always been my favorite author. And why couldnt the main characters have been a little bit younger?

From start to finish the storyline was unbelievable. It felt like a book that was given very little time. Total waste of time and money.

The Way Back to You by Sharon Sala is a charming small town romance. This is book nine in the Blessings, GA series. This is the first book I have read and it totally stood alone and I was able to keep up with all of the characters, and they are quite the characters. Sully finds out that he is adopted after his adoptive mom passes away. Sully is retiring his career as a firefighter. He goes on a quest to find his biological parents. In the process of doing that he ends up in Blessings. Within an hour of arriving he saves a woman from a burning car. He finds out this woman is his childhood sweetheart, Melissa. There is a sweet romance between Sully and Melissa. In addition, Sully continues to search for his birth mom. The reveal is beautifully done. And I loved that the author didn’t just end there. This is a heartwarming second chance romance with a cast of interesting and quirky characters. On a side note, the author references Spirit with a capital S. I am not sure if that is a reference to God or something else. Sexual content - a couple physical scenes with very little details. You could skip right over them. Violence – there is an escaped convict and he kidnaps someone Drinking – I don’t recall any drinking I received this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review. You can see my full review at More Than a Review dot com where I rate the level of sex, violence, language and drug/alcohol use in books.

The Way Back to You (Blessing, Georgia #9) was a great read by Sharon Sala. This book follows more new and old residents of Blessings, Georgia. Sully Raines found out he was adopted when the only mother he ever knew died. He decides to search for her and his journey ends up in Blessings, Georgia. He never knew that this trip would eventually lead him to everything that he wanted. He finds his childhood sweetheart that he hasn't seen since her family walked away. I can't wait to read more by Sharon Sala. I loved how she tied all of the characters together and wrote the characters so that you fall for them.

Sharon Sala has been one of my favorite authors since I first read Jackson Rule many years ago. She was then writing under the pseudonym Dinah McCall. I can’t get enough of her books. She writes stories that touch your heart...and there are heart-stopping moments in every one of them. The fast-moving stories grab the reader’s attention at the first chapter and hold onto it until the end. I am always torn between never wanting the book to end and wanting to find out how it ends. The Blessings Georgia series has captured my heart. The people who live in Blessings, Georgia have become friends. I look forward to the next visit. Book #9 in the Blessings, Georgia series did not disappoint. The story follows Sully Raines as he searches for his birth mother only to discover the first girl he ever loved living in the small town of Blessings, Georgia. I recommend The Way Back to You and the entire Blessings, Georgia series to anyone who enjoys good contemporary romance with well-developed, believable characters.

I am a big fan of Sharon Sala’s series about the small town of Blessings, Georgia. You know what you are going to get, but I still enjoy the journey. It’s fun to read about good people helping each other. The people who are motivated by selfishness get what is coming to them and that is always rewarding to read. There is a lot of coincidence that the reader has to just swallow with a huge gulp of sweet tea. Sully finds out that he was adopted and embarks on a quest to find his birth mother. That quest takes him to Blessings where he helps save the life of a woman from a car accident. And wouldn’t you know it, that woman turns out to be the woman who was his first date as a teenager. Add in the search for his birth mother and then his birth father and the coincidences pile up in a satisfying conclusion. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Blessings, Georgia, a town that may be small but is big in heart.  All of the citizens of this town care about each other and look out for one another during times of strife. But overall, this is the kind of town that I wish still existed in our country.  It isn't perfect and there is some crime, but overall it would be a peaceful place to live out my life. In this book, we meet Sully, a retired firefighter on the search for his biological mother.  He has tracked her down to Blessings but no one seems to recognize his mother's name.  A freak accident spurs Sully into action, saving a woman from a car that explodes, and discovers a childhood sweetheart.  I'm sure you can guess the outcome here, they reconnect and find their way back to each other.  Along the way, Sully discovers who he is and where he wants his life to continue. All of the books in this series are sweet, like cotton candy, and while for the most part are conflict free, there are some scenes that create that conflict that all books need to have to be multi-dimensional.  There are outcomes that you can see coming, but the ride to that ending is sometimes like a roller coaster with the emotional ups and downs but ending in a satisfying journey. While all of these books can be read on their own, it is best to start with the first book in this series so you can get to know the citizens of Blessings and celebrate their joys and mourn their losses. We give this book 5 paws up and I can't imagine what the next book holds for us.

What a marvelous addition to the Blessings, Georgia series. Thanks goes to the publisher, via Net-Galley for the opportunity to read and review prior to publication. My opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way. I have now read quite a few books in this amazing series. At first, it took a bit of time to get used to Ms. Sala’s writing style, since so many characters have a point of view, and it changes quickly and often. Now that I have adjusted, I no longer find it distracting. In fact, I have come to quite enjoy it. The Way Back to You is a delightful romance that kept me engaged from the first page to the last. The plot is so unique, and the characters are real, both are heartwarming and touched my heart. This book has a bit of it all. It gives a great feel to small town USA and the endearing characters in Blessings, Georgia. The Way Back to You even has a good bit of suspense, which I’ve come to expect in Ms. Sala’s books, and a wonderful love story to enhance my reading experience. Melissa Dean is a unique character. At first, she seemed too caught up in her late husband she’d lost twenty years before, but that soon proved to be a misconception on my part. She is a hard-working small businesswoman who just believes she’s too old to find romance, now that she’s finally come out of the fog of grief. I could feel the thrill she experienced when she realizes her rescuer is none other than her first boyfriend. Just loved her reaction so much. Sully Raines is the hero, and he’s on a mission to find his birth mother. The only woman he’d ever known left a letter and information regarding his adoption when she passes. That was the first he’d heard of it. He’s recently retired from the Kansas City Fire department, so he has the time and resources for his search. He follows the minimal leads he has to Texas, then New Orleans where he speaks with one of Janie Chapman’s—she’s his birth mom—ex-husbands. He now has a last known address in Blessings, Georgia. When he arrives in Blessings, he checks into a quaint bed & breakfast, then heads to a café for a meal. He witnesses a horrific car crash and reacts quickly to save a woman from a smoking car. Imagine his surprise when he realizes it’s his childhood sweetheart, one he has never forgotten. Sully is an awesome hero. Not only is he brave and fearless, he’s a man who doesn’t give up. His determination to find his birth mother is amazing. His pursuit of Melissa is sweet and fulfilling. I truly loved his character. The romance between Melissa and Sully is one of the most endearing I’ve read recently. They are so obviously drawn to each other, and both characters have strong romantic feelings for each other from the first time they see each other again. I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Sala’s love scenes, while they are sexual, they focus on the feelings and not the act itself. I could feel the emotions each character had for the other. If you enjoy romances with an outstanding group of characters that will touch your heart, and a beautiful love story with an added mystery to solve, then you will love The Way Back to You as much as I did. I can’t wait to read the next book in this fantastic series. I have totally fallen in love with Blessings. Happy reading!

I stumbled upon Sharon Sala’s Blessings series a few month’s back. The fictional town in Georgia, is small town charm at its best. THE WAY BACK TO YOU is a wonderful addition to the collection. Each novel is a continuation of town life, so that we get to keep up with the characters’ we have come to love. This story centers around Sullivan Raines, who learned at 45 years old, that he was adopted. In his search for his birth parents, he comes to Blessings, GA. Sully reconnects with Melissa, who was his girlfriend back in high school. As their relationship grows, they work to unravel the secrets of Sully’s past, and build a future together. This is a heartwarming, sweet novel that you won’t regret reading. Special thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for the ARC.

Sullivan Raines learns that he was adopted when his mother passes away. He is stunned as he looks at his birth certificate and a cross necklace…a necklace that belonged to his birth mother. He has retired from the fire department and knows that he needs to search for his biological mother. The search will take him to Blessings, Georgia where he will find his childhood girlfriend, Melissa. Melissa has been a widow for the past twenty years and is thrilled to be reunited with Johnny, aka Sully. This series will make you wish that your town was Blessings along with the many wonderful characters that are woven in and out through the series. Travel along with Sully and Melissa as they try to unravel the clues to his birth mother. This series continues to get better with each story as old friends become acquainted with the new members of Blessings. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

The Way Back to You by Sharon Sala is the 9th book in her wonderful Blessings, Georgia series. As always when we return to Blessings, Georgia, Sharon Sala gives us another wonderful feel good romance and a great couple. We meet our hero, Sully Raines, when cleaning out his deceased parents house, he discovers papers that show he is adopted. Sully, who is a retried fireman, is determined to find his real parents, which will turn out to be a dead end each stop along the way; his last hope leads him to Blessings, Georgia. Planning only to stay a few days in search for his elusive birth mother, Sully’s plans will change when he ends up rescuing a woman who was trapped in a car accident by a drunk driver. Melissa, our heroine, is the woman who Sully rescues, who turns out to be his teenage sweet heart, whom neither have seen all these years. Melissa is a widow for many years, and accepts that she will never remarry; but things will change, as their romance will rebloom. I loved Sully and Melissa together, as not only did they have great chemistry; they were tailor made for each other. This was a beautiful romance, which was very sweet & heartwarming, but the mystery focused on who in Blessings, Georgia was Sully’s mom. Elliot, whom we met in previous books, has the sight, and he can tell a clue to Sully to stay in Blessings, as well as provide a painting. What follows is wonderful heartwarming & emotional story, with a great couple, wonderful characters that we keep meeting in all our visits to Blessings. There will be a few surprises, and Sully with Melissa will find their family expanding for a wonderful happy ending. I love returning to Blessings, which is a wonderful community who takes care of their own. We should all be blessed with living in Blessings. Sharon Sala writes another fabulous story, and she continually amazes me that she gives us such great couples that we care about with each and every book. If you enjoy a pure romance, wonderful characters, great couples, and a small-town atmosphere, then you should be reading this series. The Way Back to You was a wonderful read, written so very well by Sharon Sala.

I was happy to be back to Blessing, enjoying the lovely setting and the great cast of characters. This was a sweet and well crafted story that made me root for the characters. I found it engrossing and entertaining. Ms Sala can surely write a book that will keep you hooked till the end and this one was no exception. An entertaining read, recommended. Many thanks the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Sala gives hearts the full package. From emotional angst to heartbreaking loss, The Way Back to You gives feelings quite a workout. What begins as his story because their journey. Sully is on the move. Searching for answers and reaquainting himself with his past. Melissa is working her way back from an almost tragedy. When the boy that broke her heart, reveals himself to be the man that saves her life, could a second chance be on the horizon? Blessings, Georgia, is my all time favorite Sharon Sala series, because there resides a bit of every heart inside of each character that she writes. From captivating to relatable, Sala has dreamed up the perfect place to misplace your heart and fall in love.
