What is masculinity?

Ask ten men and you'll get ten vague, conflicting answers.

Unlike any book of its kind, The Way of Men offers a simple, straightforward answer-without getting bogged down in religion, morality, or politics. It's a guide for understanding who men have been and the challenges men face today. The Way of Men captures the silent, stifling rage of men everywhere who find themselves at odds with the over-regulated, over-civilized, politically correct modern world.

If you've ever closed your eyes and wished for one day as a lion, this book is for you.

This is a book that had need to be written. I don't agree with him on some areas whole-hearted. But that's why we were born with brains. This book shouldn't be looked at as "what to think" just - a paradigm shift and starting point of how to begin to look at the life you lead. And has need to be read by all men in America. Not so much an attack on feminism as it is a wake up call for men to realize what they've become - and how they've allowed civilization in an increasingly comfort/consumer based society lead them down the road to eventual extinction of global masculinity. The end, was a anti-climatic. As Mr. Donovan built up his material and just kind of let the air out of the balloon. It's an impetus more than a how-to guide. It was an easy read, and not preachy. Not too lengthy. I will be reading his other works. And definitely looking forward to hopefully a follow-up of some sort.

a book that speaks to, and puts a defining word to, the deep seeded evolutionary drive within the XY chromosomes of men. Deny the anthropomorphic pull and instinct if you want but to embrace it is to know the way of men. Thanks Jack.

Overall pretty good. I don't agree with a lot of what he says, but I admire any man who stands up and says what most men know is the truth. Hope the next book is a little more practical.
