Michelle Hastie takes the age-old cliché “No pain, no gain” and tosses it on its head in this book. Like the other e-books from Absolute Love Publishing, one can really get a lot of mileage out of this as the lessons can be referred back to over and over again, each improvement building on the one before it. Michelle’s approach to weight loss is partially psychoanalytical, and of course physical, and also 100 percent intuitive. There is no reason our weight loss techniques shouldn’t be as unique as we are. Bonus: Even if you are not interested in dropping weight, you can always use the material in this book to develop and maintain healthy relationships with food and exercise!

This is the only weight loss book you'll ever need! Hastie's compassionate advice and practical homework assignments lovingly guide readers toward their ideal bodies and lives. Instead of encouraging readers to adopt an unsustainable fitness and diet lifestyle, Hastie offers a real-world, life-long model of healthy weight loss and easy maintenance. This is overwhelmingly the best weight-loss book I've ever read. Highly recommended.

"The Weight Loss Shift: Be More, Weigh Less" by Michelle Hastie helped me shift some of my thoughts about weight loss. It's not about this diet or that exercise; it's about changing my thought patterns to those of a naturally healthy, energetic woman. It's also about listening to my inner wisdom and honoring my body's wisdom. This book helped me tap into all of that, and I highly recommend it for those who are done, done with other weight loss methods!
