The Witch's Dream by Victoria Danann is book 2 in the Knights of Black Swan series. It has been a while since I finished book one, but I recently picked up this compilation of the first six books in the series. I will say that it was not necessary to go back and re-read book one. Book 2 gave me so much information that it was easy to bring back the old memories. This book adds new characters and pairs up some of the previous characters. I absolutely loved it. I was pulled into the characters, but the story line is just beyond anything I have previously read. All these new normals and paranormalsand dimensions. Just really consistent and well done.

I have to agree with others please read the first book in the series before reading The Witch's Dream. In this book it picks up where My Familiar Stranger leaves off, encountering Storm and (lovely witch) Litha's story, along with many new and old characters. The best to description of Victoria Danann is writing like it's a series aka television show, but not with a wrapped up at the end with a lesson learned. In the second installment of the series, we will see the world opening up with more "supernatural" beings introduced; a witch, berserkers, incubus demon, and a werewolf. I truly enjoy the character build up and my new fav is character Deliverance *sigh* Yes, he is an alpha bad boy. If you enjoy an edgy and humor with numerous laugh out loud moments, you will not be disappointed. And as an added little extra you get an interview with Ram at the end of this book.

you'll feel as if you know Storm and connect him emotionally after his heart break over Elora. As Storm's heart grows and changes throughout the book, you can do nothing but grow to care about him even more as the story continues to the end. You'll find yourself wanting to keep reading the series to keep the connection that's been made with Storm and Litha.
