About the Author

Rita Mabel Schiavo graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in biological sciences. She is one of the founding members and directors of ADM—Associazione Didattica Museale (Teaching in Museums Association)—and ADMaiora, which both focus on education and learning in museums, natural parks, sanctuaries, and exhibits. 
 
Giulia De Amicis has a master's degree in Design and has worked as a designer and illustrator for small studios, newspapers, and ENGOs (environmental non-governmental organizations). She currently works and lives in Brighton, UK. For White Star, she illustrated Space Explorers.
