Dr. Alvin B. Jackson, Jr. is a distinguished leader with over forty years of extensive experience in public administration, economic development, and organizational leadership. Throughout his career in both the public and private sectors, he has served in key executive roles, including city manager, deputy county administrator, and economic development director. In these capacities, Dr. Jackson has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives that promote fiscal sustainability infrastructure development, and strategic community growth across various municipalities.
His expertise in governance and policy implementation has led to the successful acquisition of multimillion dollar grants, the facilitation of public–private partnerships, and the transformation of underperforming organizations into thriving entities. Dr. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science in government from the University of Maryland, a master’s in ministry, and a doctorate in pastoral leadership from Thomas Brown Bible College.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Jackson is a devoted servant-leader in ministry. Ordained in 1983, he has faithfully served as a pastor, district elder, and spiritual mentor.
