I am starting Book 7 today. I just can't put them down. I'm not a "ypung" adult either, so be assured that this series is perfect for adults both young and old. I particularly llove the main characters and the fact that Ms Peebles gave the zombies a little extra personality , and she draws you into the story so well you'll feel like you're there. The gang has been thru so much adversity, I cann't imagine what they will encounter next. But I'm so eager to find out. Thanks, Ms Peebles for writing such an enjoyable series!!

Not bad for a zombie story. Kept me turning the pages. Had just a smidge of unique stuff but over all it was the same old same old.

I enjoyed The Zombie Chronicles (Book 1 of 9). There was plenty of action, humor, romance, and intrigue. Almost all the characters are likable. There were a few moments of insane conversation, totally unrealistic for the situation they were in. But overall, not a bad book. I look forward to reading Race For The Cure (Book 2 in the series).

Good Story. Will keep you interested to the end. I wasnt happy that the book doesnt really end....to continue the story and find out what happens, you are forced to buy the next one. Personally, I prefer series that have a conclusive ending but still draw you to the next. When I am forced to buy a book to read what should be the ending of the book I am already reading......it discourages me from buying from that author again. Shame too....seems like it would a good series.

Good plot, good characters, easy to follow... but... We all know that the only way to kill these zombies, is by a blow to the head, destroying the brain. Toward the end of chapter 15: "A growl made me glance up. A zombie with those horrible white eyes broke out of the thick vegetation. The thing that really caught my attention was the axe sticking out of its head." Chapter 17: "A zombie in a torn suit walked toward me, his head leaning to one side. He had a metal rod protruding from his head, and bite marks ran across his green arms and neck.". In order for these items to be lodged in their heads, they had to have punctured the skull and pierced the brain. These were both wounds that should have killed them. It made me feel as though the author only wrote about zombies because of the popularity of them, and not because of personal interest. Those were mistakes in writing that every zombie fan should have picked up on. LittleQwerty-AZ
