This new book is a collection of stories from seven women of the PhD Sisters Support Group, who earned their PhD, EdD, DBA or other doctoral degree. These women reflect on their journey to obtaining their terminal degree. They discuss intimate details of the highs and lows experienced while completing their program. As you read these stories, you will see that despite the challenges faced, they never lost sight of finishing their doctoral degree. This is the first volume of an ongoing series designed to provoke thought about the importance of pursuing an education and to inspire young women to continue their education regardless of the challenges that they may face in their everyday live.
