Lovely story of faith, trust, love and family.

The book spans a 4-5 year period. It's a series of journal entries, phone calls, unsent letters & postcards, to tell the story. I finished satisfied but wishing there had been more. The series does continue I guess years later with 3 books for each daughter having their own story in the same format. Hope this was helpful.

This book may not be for everyone. It is a clean read. However, I really dislike the she writes letters never sent. He writes in his journal. Throw in some phone calls or messages left, it's just plain boring.

The way this book was written (journal entries and phone messages) made it hard to get into. It was strange and I didn't get invested into the storyline.

This author gives just the right amount of romance with a twist. I've read all of her books and keep coming back for more! If you love the innocent side of romance, you'll love this author and her books!

This book is written in the same style of one of my favorite books growing up, and even today, called called Daddy-Long-Legs in which a girl tells of her life and love in letters that she writes to her new guardian. This story is told in journal entry's, phone messeges, and letters and has the same honesty and simplicity the I found in Daddy-Long-Legs. You would think there wouldn't be a lot of action in a book like this but I didn't feel that way. It was straight forward and sweet. The growth of the characters is seen in how they wrote and shared their feeling through writing. This is a wonderful book of forgiveness and redemption without getting over the top preachy. It is also a love story and that comes accross very well and is very believable. It is also clean. Brief mention of a sexual relationship and a violent event but nothing in depth and nescesary to understand the thoughts and choices of the main characters.

I love Becky's christian romance novels. I had read her other series and was super excited about a new series coming out. This is the prequel to the bradford sisters. This book had many twist that i was not expecting . When I was finished i was sad that it was over already. I couldnt wait for the new series to come out.
