Thief on King Street: A Roger V Adventure
Sha'iry - priests of the dark god, Sutekh - are taking over Parlatheas, kingdom by kingdom. Those who resist them have fallen to plague, civil war, and invasion. In this dark hour, it seems all hope is lost...

Roger Vaughn, thief and spy in service to the Highlord of Gallowen, has one task: steal back the country of Carolingias. To do so, he must help the few remaining Knights of Carolingias find someone both the nobility and peasantry will follow: a Battenberg heir to the throne.

Sole survivor of an attack against the royal family by the infamous dærganfae assassin known as The Archer, Ambrose Battenberg lives in fear. Hiding among the peasant rebels of Carolingias, she has learned some hard lessons about life and survival. Only with Camber, the rebel leader, does she feel safe - until Roger Vaughn uncovers her identity, thrusting Ambrose into the center of the plot to reclaim Carolingias and into The Archer's sights.

It will take all of Roger's wits - along with some help from the Highlord, a jaded pirate captain, and an idealistic paladin - to save Ambrose and Carolingias. Their quest will lead them into a world unlike anything they ever imagined: 1969 Charleston, SC.

About the Author

An engineer by day and world builder by night, Jason is an advocate for using both sides of the brain. With his stepfather as a guide, Jason traveled the worlds of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, and J. R. R. Tolkien at an early age. As he grew older, he discovered Dungeons and Dragons and the joys of creating his own campaigns. During all this, Jason graduated from Clemson University and embarked on a career in structural engineering. Now, he owns a successful engineering firm, where he continues to design a wide range of projects. His attention to detail and vivid imagination help shape the various adventures that challenge his characters.

Coming from a family of storytellers - traditional, oral storytellers, that is - it's little wonder that Stormy is driven to weave words as well. She can't remember a time when she didn't love books - from the feel and smell of the pages, to the information they hold, to the tales that they tell - but storytelling is a labor of love, which doesn't always pay the bills. A ridiculous variety of side jobs have supported her writing habit, including waitress, security guard, library minion, salesperson, hairdresser, handyman, engineering drafter, and small business owner.

Alan's adventures with literature began as they should: with Tolkien's The Hobbit, read to him as a child by his father. His love of fantasy and science fiction eventually led him to RPGs - most notably Dungeons & Dragons - where world building became a fascination. After majoring in Physics at Furman University and Civil Engineering at Clemson University, he became a licensed engineer and now works for an international Engineering-Procurement-Construction company. Alan also served as a soldier with the Army National Guard. Each of these careers, as well as a multitude of hobbies, helps bring depth and creativity to the characters and worlds he brings to life.
