The hero of this novel is a rural young man who returns to his village wanting to live simply, after mingling with the people of the city and its tumultuous daily life. His tendency to retreat and retreat is evident in his relationship with his Bedouin neighbors with strange names. He admires the girl "Tadadha" and fails to bond with her, after which he becomes emotionally attached. With the Alexandrian girl, Alia, he also fails. His friend also fails to help him, and while he moves between cities as a prosecutor, he faces his work problems negatively. Despite this, he resorts to false idealism and, of course, loses confidence in goodness and truth, but he remains in the middle... and the shallow conflict between the hero and himself continues. It is worth noting that the author of the novel, Muhammad Farid Abu Hadid, is a great Egyptian storyteller and writer, and he has many works that have enriched the Arab library, most of which were from. Historical novels, and he is one of the pioneers of children's literature and modern poetry.
