The kidnappers take her to a spanish family where she stays for a while and is taken care of. The family finally trusts her to take a walk by herself down the street to get food from the market. Will she try to escape or not? Read this book and find out!

I was 7, 8 or 9 when I read Three days by Donna Jo Napoli and it has stayed my favourite book since. I read it then I moved and I wanted to read it again. I went to the library and they didn't have it. I was angry and dumb founded. I think it is an awesome book and would highly recommend it to anyone who's up for an adventure and enjoys reading. I have not found it yet but I will do so and when I find it, I will read it again. Again, it is a thrilling, intreging book that will pull any reader into it's grasp and they wont be able to get out until they finish the book. I love this book and I can't get over saying that. Read it and it might be in by one of your favourite other books. Watch out!

An eleven year old girl named Jackie is on a business trip in Italy with her father. While driving back from a restaurant to their hotel, Jackie's father suddenly collapses. Later she is kidnapped by two strange men and spends three suspenseful days imprisoned in a family's home. The book is very descriptive and detailed, but the part I disliked the most about this book is that the events were very repetitive. The paragraph I wrote above is described within the first couple chapters. The rest of the book includes no new plot. I would recomend this book to a younger crowd.

Three Days by Donna Jo Napoli is a wonderful book! It is about an eleven year old girl named Jackie who goes on a business trip with her dad in Italy. One night while they are driving on the highway Jackie's dad just collapses. She jumps out of the car and starts waving her arms madly. Many cars pass until finally one stops. Jackie gets into the car and wants the driver to turn off at the exit so that she can go get help from the 'polizia.' Instead, the driver and his son take her to their country home. This place turns out to be a hideout. The driver gives her over to Claudia, his daughter. Jackie figures out that the driver has done this because Antonia, Claudia's daughter has died. Jackie tries to escape many times to see if her dad is OK and to get back to her home in Minnesota. The first few times, Claudia seems to help her try to escape. Will Jackie ever get home. You'll have to read the book to find out. Donna Jo Napoli really makes you feel what the characters are feeling. This was such a great book I couldn't put it down. My mom got mad at me because it was bedtime and I just couldn't stop reading. I got mad at her because she wouldn't let me keep on reading! I recommend this book to kids from fifth to seventh grade and to anyone who enjoys suspense stories.

I read the book Three Days. My favorite quote from the book was when Jackie an eleven- year old's dad collapses in a car in Italy. This is my favorite quote because it really made me want to read more to find out how Jackie gets back to her home in the U.S.. Jackie gets picked up by 2 men and they bring her to their house. Jackie then met a women named Claudia that would try to help her escape, but would always get caught. Read the book to find out if Jackie can escape and find her way home. I liked this book because when Jackie's dad collapsed it hooked me in and I wanted to find out if she could get home and how she would get there. This is a good book for you if you like mystery books.

This was a really boring and dumb book! We had a book report on mysteries and it was recomended, but it isn't even a mystery book! It doesn't explain anything about the 'mystery' of the plot! It just goes on and on!Don't read this!
