A romantic horror is not my normal read, I like a good Urban Fantasy or Thriller, but this book has enough twists and thrills for anyone! It's a fast easy read and so exciting that I had to finish it the same day. The story follows the travels of an engagement ring as it passes through the hands of multiple characters, reeking havoc with deadly consequences. First a coworker in love, to an Italian delivery boy who you immediately fall in love with, to the beloved daughter. That's when I said WOW, I'm impressed and it's impossible to be bored when the plot twists and turns through out. Believable and authentic characters had me smiling and sometimes down right shocked me speechless! It is, at the core, a wonderful creepy story of love! I would definitely recommend reading this one!

This book is a haunting tale that follows the travels of an engagement ring moreso than the characters. The connections between the people who hold the unfortunate ring are woven together nicely and the writing was short, punchy, and made you want to keep flipping the pages to find out what would happen to the person who unwittingly picked up the blue box. The writing is excellent in this story and the tale is gripping. The one thing I wished was to spend more time with the characters in the center of the book, getting to know them enough to care about them before the ring moved into the hands of the next person. You get to know the main circle of a few characters well enough to care about them, but the string of unfortunate events that bring it about full circle aren't quite as impactful because of how little time was spent getting to know the character before the ring moved on to the next person.

This short read will keep you on the edge of your seat as it twists and turns from one character to another until you get an ending that will surprise you. Filled with plenty of take-you-there descriptions, it is so easy to get lost between the pages of this story and forget the world around you.
