I really enjoyed this book. Very hard to out down! This was the first Sandy Loyd book I have ever read and I have to say I am impressed. Even though the story was regarding time travel, it was not written in a crazy, far-fetched way. She drew you into the story as though you were standing just beyond watching the whole thing play out. A must read!

Great story. Loved the characters. Couldn't put it down. I plan to read the entire series.

This was a great time-travel story! I enjoyed every minuiI also appreciated the intimate scenes expressed in a tastefully romantic way. I don't particularly care for crude slang words to describe intimacy. There was good character development, which made you connect with each and every character.

I enjoyed this story of time travel and love. I would have enjoyed it more with less sex. The story is very good without it so why trash it with sex.

I loved the time travel to the beginnings of the Kentucky Derby and the woman passing herself off as a boy to ride and train thoroughbreds. But the story was written in a juvenile manner and the man's eyes Murphy changing grin greenish blue to amber to brown to am amazing deep blue... You have to keep features straight ?

Interest concept jumping back and forth and keeping your interest.

Good story. More realistic about the emotional issues such decisions would cause than other time travel novels.

For those readers who enjoy time travel and romance, this publication by Sandy Loyd is a true "double dip of enjoyment." Loyd does an excellent job of depicting the lifestyle of the 1970s in horse-breeding country in Kentucky, along with a modern era in that same location .... it's hard not to believe, as a reader, you're not part of the story. There is absolutely nothing "not to enjoy" about this book ... the story moves along quickly, the verbiage is brisk, although she sometimes gets a little bogged down in describing some scenes, and the use of real life situations and personalities of the 1870s are quite believable. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys time travel, with a good romance theme, complemented by a realistic portrayal of the times and lifestyle of that 1870s era..

I truly wanted to like this book. I just could not. I had to stop and start so often I just gave up and. Turned to the last few pages. Glad it was free. I doubt that I would read any other books by this author.

Excellent read, great story line.  The interaction between Libby and Colin, Libby and  The Gunersons, especially Nathan Gunerson was delightful.  Time travel between 2013 and 1874, to include little tibits of how they organized The Kentucky Derby.  Awsome. A feel good, HEA story.   I will purchase the other books by this author, especially Giselle's and Simon's story. Thank you and kudos to the Author. *vrnb*
