Torel is the best medical officer in the Pyrosian fleet, but being the best comes with a cost. When the queen orders him to apply to Star-Crossed Dating, he’s relieved when there’s no match for him among the human females of Earth. He doesn’t have time for that kind of distraction.
Mated or not, he’s on his way to Earth to help newly-mated females adjust to the life awaiting them on Pyros. All he has to do is keep them healthy and happy during the voyage home. It should be the easiest assignment of his career.
This book contains a widow determined to never fall in love again, and a doctor who is about to discover that when it comes to the heart, he’s still got a lot to learn.

I was given an Advanced Review Copy, by the author, in return for a honest review. This is the fifth book in the Star-Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides series. Due to unintended circumstances, can the Spark really bind two reluctant mates together, forever? I loved this novel, from the serious, touching moments to the lighthearted interaction Torel and Haley were both needing. Torel was a great, protective alpha male and I found myself really feeling for Haley and hoping she would one day find happiness again. Another well written adventure, with an entertaining plot. From beginning to end, I can never get enough of these novels!- Sarah
Sometimes love is the best medicine. Haley lost her husband to cancer and is afraid of facing that hurt ever again. She isn’t against getting a little something in the bedroom but is determined not to allow her heart to get involved. She never counted on Torel, doctor to the Pyrosian royals. Torel is committed to his job and his people and has no time for love. He never counted on Haley. These two were bound to be and it was fun watching them figure that out.
