Toronto Maple Leafs 1959-1960

The Toronto Maple Leafs endured some very lean seasons in the 1950s before adding some key ingredients that enable the National Hockey League team to become a bonafide contender for the Stanley Cup championship. Defenceman Tim Horton became a regular by 1952 and Frank Mahovlich, Bob Pulford, and Dave Keon were added somewhat later.
