Trapped In Dark Clouds
'Trapped in Dark Clouds' is a powerful memoir that follows Patrick Morrison's journey from a troubled childhood into the depths of street life, addiction, and the difficult lessons that shaped him. Born into poverty and raised in an unstable home, Patrick grew up surrounded by hardship. His mother worked tirelessly to provide, but the burden of broken systems, unsafe neighborhoods, and emotional wounds made life a daily struggle.
As a child, Patrick witnessed violence, hunger, and addiction. By his teenage years, the streets became his second home, and survival became his primary goal. What began as small risks quickly escalated into serious choices that pulled him deeper into a life he never truly wanted. This book brings readers into those moments with honesty and clarity, demonstrating what it feels like to grow up with very little and to persevere when it seems easier to give up.
Patrick's story is not only about pain but also about resilience, reflection, and the fight for change. He opens up about the past not for sympathy, but to shed light on the reality many young people face today. 'Trapped in Dark Clouds' is a story about choices, survival, and the hope that even in the darkest moments, change is still possible.

About the Author

I grew up in Harrisburg, PA, in the 5th ward Elm Street, better known as the Hill in the Hoods, a drug-infested neighborhood. All I had seen my entire life. I sold drugs my whole life, shot people over money and respect, and went to prison in return for eight years. That’s when I opened my eyes to better things in life and to what life really is through self-educating myself and elevation. I understood I wanted more out of my life, and my chances of getting it in the drug game were slim to none, so I figured I’d take another route to pursue my dreams.
