This is a wonderful way to introduce children to traveling. Bernie and Ben introduce the reader to 45 popular cities around the world and point out major landmarks and facts about each. This book includes a ton of info, yet it's presented in a really brilliant way. Each blurb is only a few sentences long and the descriptions are easy to understand. The illustrations are very well done and cover each and every page. My daughter is about to turn six, but she already dreams about visiting several of these places. The top of her list includes: The Statue of Liberty, San Francisco, the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben. Places mentioned: Algiers, Amsterdam, Angkor, Athens, Babylon, Bangkok, Barcelona, Beijing, Berlin, Cape Town, Chicago, Dhaka, Dubai, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Krakow, Las Vegas, Lisbon, London, Luxor, Machu Picchu, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris, Prague, Reykjavik, Rio De Janeiro, Rome, San Francisco, Santiago de Chile, Shanghai, Shibam, Stockholm, Sydney, Taipei City, Tokyo, Toronto, Troy, Vatican City, Venice, Vienna, Wellington, Zurich.
