About the Author

The author, Carlos Lima, was born in the small town of Limonar, Cuba in 1960 and left the Communist island in 1970 with his parents and younger brother for the United States. He grew up in Miami, Florida where he attended college and has worked for CBS Television as an operations engineer for over 30 years. He married Nellie Paez in 1982 and they have two grown children, Anthony and Nicole. He is an avid fisherman and scuba diver who frequently enjoys these past times in his beloved Florida Keys, where he is a part time resident, with his family and friends. This is his first published work which he wrote as a memento of the trip he took with his wife for their twenty fifth anniversary.
