What a treasure!! This is a great book for all ages. Full of color and culture to teach you about the beauty Mexico City has to offer. After living there for several years and now being out of the country for a while, this book brought us memories of all our favorite places. The story is interesting and touching as you travel with the kids to all their favorite places in CDMX. I love how the author has combined history, culture and the Spanish language in a fun and beautifully presented way. Whether you’ve been to Mexico City or not this is a great book to have in your collection and cherish. Jackie Zarkower- author of “Switch It Up” cookbook, healthy snacks for the whole family.
“Travels with Grace” is a charming tale of a bicultural, bilingual girl growing up in one of the largest cities in the world. Grace and her family take cousin Connor, who is visiting, on a tour of some important sites, and they learn about history, culture, food, and language. The illustrations are beautiful and colorful. My children loved learning about some of the history of Mexico City through this travel story, and as a parent it made me reaffirm my travel goals with my children. It is so important to take children to museums and other historical sites. And this has also made me set higher goals for learning a second language with my children. I highly recommend this book. -Elizabeth Sweet
