About the Author

Gary Phillips has written novels, short stories, and comics for the likes of DC, Dark Horse and Boom! Studios. He's penned new adventures of Kolchak, the Night Stalker and brought back Xal-Kor, The Human Cat, a sixties fandom favorite. Matthew Henson and the Ice Temple of Harlem was his rollicking retro pulp novel, and he edited the Anthony-winning anthology The Obama Inheritance: Fifteen Stories of Conspiracy Noir.
