This is a very useful guide for young and old to easily identify most trees found in our beautiful state. My youngest son who is 10 and I both like to take the book (which is a nice pocket size) along on walks to learn more about the trees in our surrounding area. I believe it will also be useful when my oldest does his science project on our local nature. I found that there are a few trees that I thought I had correctly identified were indeed incorrect. I have found this author's book on Wisconsin birds very nice as well for identifying the various birds that frequent our backyard feeders.
