About the Author

Steve Kaye has been taking photos since 1965. He uses these photos in books, presentations, and articles to inspire respect for the diversity of life in nature. He has judged photo contests, conducted workshops on nature photography, and spoken at birding festivals.

Steve has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. After working in research for almost 20 years, he started a management consulting business in 1992. His meeting facilitation helped people reach agreements and find solutions that led to success. His presentations, workshops, and consulting informed, inspired, and entertained people nationwide. He has published books on leadership topics and collections of poems.

In 2011 he changed the focus of his business to blend professional photography with professional speaking. Now he creates memorable experiences that show people how they can make a difference by enjoying nature and by sharing its beauty with others. And creates books, like this one, that show the extraordinary beauty in nature.
