Jonathan "JC" Cole comes on the scene as a force to be reckoned with. Unknown in this area he goes recruiting customers and instantly becomes a problem.

JC is carted off to jail due to sabotage by his best friends. Though he does play a integral role in the crime. Who would've thought that his friends would be rats? 10 years inside surviving off pure revenge. Will he be granted the pleasure of getting his revenge?

This is a very good story. Though this is not a connection check out the introduction of The Apostles.

If you have yet to read anything by Blak you're definitely sleeping.

I really enjoyed this book. It took me two days to finish and I found Killer J's revenge awesome!

This was a very good noval. I enjoyed the novel cause it went straight to the point and was not taking a long time to get to to climax of the novel. The is very eye opening and sometimes I felt I was right in the story.

This is the very first time that I have given my opinion/review on any book. I just had to let everyone know that this book was worth it. I couldn't put it down. I found myself wanting 'JC/Killer J' to take total revenge on his three 'friends'. I loved the love story with Champagne and the relationship with his best friend Rat and his Kick-butt girlfiend Shaunna. My only reget was that it ended too quickly. Please don't pass up this wonderful story.

Intially I was hesitant about reading the book but my sister was persistent. I regret it now the book was excellent. It gets your attention from the jump off. I'm waiting for Moore's next one. Keep up the good work.

I think that this book was excellant. I mean, I couldn't stop reading, and was upset when I was interrupted at any point. It was so exciting to get a inside scoop on drug dealers and the street life without having to actually experience it. I appreciate a book that tells the real deal about 'our' world (African Americans)I honestly think their should be a movie made about this, having Tyson playing JC.

Triple Take keeps your attention. The author made you feel as though you knew the characters. You understood how the relationships and the bond between the characters came about. There was always anticipation of what was to come next. I feel we can only look for great things from Y. Blak Moore. Once you pick up 'Triple Take' you can't put it down.

This would have been an extremely good book. The plot and setting were fantastic. The author made a big mistake of using big words instead of simple ordinary words. It's like he tried to prove to himself (and I guess his readers) that he is capable of using big 'intelligent' words, but all he did was aggravated me. I consider myself to be very intelligent and well-educated, but I found myself looking up words in the dictionary that I had never heard of or seen (and that happened a whole lot in this book). I hope he knows that his book would have been extremely good even without using words like 'coquettishly'and other words like that throughout the entire book.

The first 2 chapters threw me off. They didn't hold my interest. But something said keep reading and oh that thang got off the hook. I couldn't put it down after that. I laughed and cried. I loved it.

If you have a problem with guns, violence, graphic sex, and foul language, this is NOT the book for you. If you like realistic dialogue, dry humor, organized plots, and edgy books, then this is. I'm a little split when it came to this book. I think the author is very talented at telling a story. I also think he's organized, educated, and stays true to his character's personalities. I didn't care for the plot (but I was curious), but the reason I gave it a three was not because of the plot (I already knew that) but because the end dragged on much too long for me.
