Trouble Creek by Ralph Cotton

First time on E-Readers and in Handsome 5x8 Trade Paper.

Dick Lowry and his gang think robbing banks is their natural right. It has never occurred to them that Ranger Sam Burrack might thwart them, especially in a one-horse town like Olsen. It's only when the gun smoke clears that the hardcases realize the money's still in the bank vault-and they're behind bars. But Burrack never counted on a certain local vixen with a talent for larceny....

I've been a Ralph Cotton fan for many years and I think Trouble Creek is one of his best Ranger Burrack stories. But all of his books are top shelf. Mr. Cotton puts many elements into his stories, using humor, drama, adventure and gunslinging action and even a little bit of off-beat romance to keep the readers attention. At a time when western writers bust their gut to imitate Lamour and Zane Gray, Cotton writes his own thing his own way and gets-r-done. Trouble Creek is no exception. Keep them coming.

This is another great story from Ralph Cotton. Moves quick and will be hard to put down.
