Oh, Melissa Foster, you’ve done it again!! You’ve sucked me in and sent me on a roller coaster of emotions. If you’ve read Foster’s other work, you’ll notice right away that this book is darker in style. The characters are rougher around the edges and the story is more somber. Bear and Crystal are first introduced in Tru Blue. (Note: You don’t have to read Tru Blue first unless you want Tru and Gemma’s backstory.) Bear is instantly attracted to Crystal, but Crystal wants nothing to do with Bear…or does she? Crystal is one of those characters that you like one minute and who can irritate you the next. She’s had a rough life and she doesn’t like getting close to people as she feels they only leave her or let her down in the end. This caused me to feel like she was playing with Bear’s emotions, wanting him one minute and pushing him away the next. Bear, who has his fair share of pain in his life, must have the patience of Job. He wants Crystal the moment he first sets eyes on her, and is preparing to wait and do whatever it takes to have her. Although he’s known as a badass biker, he shows his softer side with Crystal. While I liked the more sensitive side of him, there are places in the story where I wish he’d shown more of his alpha side. All in all this was an overall great read. While I had a few issues with the characters, the story line was awesome and the romance was HOT! I’m looking forward to read the next one to find out more about the rest of the Whiskey family.

•Confidence and Determination Another amazing story by Melissa Foster! Each of her series pulls me in as soon as I open the book, although they're part of a series each story can be read as standalone and can be read in any order. Within the series each story has its own couple, but they all interconnect, which means you just have to read them ALL!! This is Bear and Crystal story, and oh boy what a steamy and emotional story it is. I cried, but laughed even more. The love throughout this story is amazing, who can resist a kitten, a toddler and the cutest little girl ever. Every couple deserve their own HEA. To find our how much willingness, commitment, willpower, love, confidence and determination there is within this story you'll have top read TRULY, MADLY, WHISKEY. I loved it and although I haven't read River of Love or Tru Blue yet, I WILL BE!! I also cannot wait for Bullet, Bones & Dixie's stories, Melissa is awesome. I have not been disappointed by anything of hers I've read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via Tasty Book Tours for an honest blog tour review. Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 16 and older. Favorite Passages ~ ~ He had the reputation of a snake, and he wasn’t going anywhere near Bear’s sister’s grass. ~ “They say orchids are symbols of love and affection,” he said softly. “And the harder they are to find, the more love and affection they hold. When you put all these magnificent beauties together, you get the most unique flower on earth.” ~ “You give me strength, Bear, the way you believe in me. Thank you, and thank you for being here for me.” ~ Love, loyalty, and respect for all runs as thick as blood through their veins. A blessing and a curse. Want More Whiskeys? Each of the Whiskey siblings (Bullet, Bones, and Dixie) will be featured in their own fun, sexy novels. Sign up for Melissa’s newsletter to be notified of the next Whiskey release. www.MelissaFoster.com/Newsletter. While all may be enjoyed as part of their larger series, every book is written as a stand-alone novel and you can jump in any time without missing a beat. The Whiskeys were first introduced in RIVER OF LOVE and we learned more about them in TRU BLUE.

Camaraderie, honor, respect, family and love are the combined soul of this beautiful, emotional and passionate story. The family values fly off the pages and take hold of your heart. I easily became engaged into Crystal and Bear's life in Truly, Madly, Whiskey and of all those around them, the whole biker community along with the Dark Knights was a great back story too. They say to never judge a person on first appearances and that is so true with those Whiskey brothers and the biking community as a whole. Burrowed deep within Crystal are the memories that her normal secure childhood had changed to uncertainty, grief, and emotional upheaval, she pushes on with life but she has built a wall around herself so nothing would hurt her again even though her heart might tell her differently. The way Bear continued to push on with the tiny hope he carried of a relationship with Crystal, unwilling to give up until she succumbed, definitely pulled on my heart. Was Bear the one to break her wall down? I enjoyed watching their relationship unfold, laughing throughout the book at the fun banter between them. Again little Kennedy stole my heart, with her cute innocent remarks. One character I am so looking forward to reading more on is Dixie, I'm hoping that she has her own book although I feel sorry for any love interest she may have with those protective biker brothers around. And OMG the ending!! Can't say anymore, you will just have to read it to find out.

I have been hoping that Bear would get a story. His role in a previous book made me want to know more about him and where he would go with love. I was so curious about the connection with Crystal and if it was something there or just an illusion written in to misled. The banter between Crystal and Bear was my favorite. Their interactions just felt real. Allowing for me to easily visualize the play. The chemistry was there and it was intensified by their exchanges with each other. This was a fun read that had elements of sexual charges. Bear was the tatted, sexy, muscular male that was just wanting to be wrapped up with that one special woman, even if he really didn’t think so. Crystal well she was a woman on a mission to rise above what she was born to and raise around. She like so many other has family issues. She had life happen to her early and often. She was a woman that took control of her life and was determined to direct it to where she wanted it to go. There was much to capture you and send you further in to the read. It was more pleasant if you had a chance to read Tru Blue and get more of a feel for the characters that were going to be the highlight of this current read. Reading about them previously and then watching them grow more in their connection was emotional at points. There was a lot between then and a lot behind them. Coming to terms with things was what was needed. Life decisions were needed to be made. Watching as they come to this realization and doing it together was beautiful. There are always those that don’t like a read. I for one got what I was expecting. Bear gives his all and Crystal receives it. I recommend this read to anyone looking for a new emotional charged read with excellent chemistry and banter.

Bear Whiskey may look like a bad boy biker, but he's really a teddy bear with a heart of gold. He's had eyes for no one but Crystal for almost one year, but he never gave up on her, even when it seemed like she would never give in. She likes Bear, but is afraid of what he makes her feel after events from her past have left her weary. But Bear knows how to push all her buttons, and works hard to bring down her walls. There are plenty of laughs, tears and sexy times along they way, and I have to give Bear credit for letting Crystal set the pace. I was intrigued with the Whiskey siblings in other books by Melissa Foster, and I'm really glad they will be getting their own stories. 4.5 stars I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

Truly, Madly, Whiskey is the newest release from one of my favorite authors: Melissa Foster. Romance novels are everywhere and most of them leave me thinking, 'eh, I should have taken a bath instead.' But not Melissa Foster! Her novels have a way of grabbing me and making me wish I was 15 years younger and single again. In Truly, Madly, Whiskey we meet a young woman in the midst of reinventing herself yet again. Life seems to have a thing for knocking her on her butt, but she doesn't let that keep her down long. Crystal Moon is a trooper. She has had a fairly rough life since her dad past away during her childhood. An out of touch mom, a brother in and out of trouble, and then college--oh my, what an experience! Bear Whiskey is not a man to be messed with. Big burley biker dude is the perfect description for him and Crystal isn't sure she wants anything to do with him. But, he is persistent.

Passion. Hope. Determination. Strength. Melissa Foster has written a book that will draw on your heart strings while at the same time will twists your emotions all over the place. I was drawn into this book from the very start and could not put it down. In the end you will have your heart strings tugged on and will have tears in your eyes pulled along with laughter and smiles. The story is full of romance and passion. The characters are easy to like and connect with. The chemistry between Bear and Crystal is steamy and explosive. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters in the book. The love between the Whiskey family with the teasing and fun added to the story. This was another book from Melissa Foster that was hard to put down. Melissa is a very talented author that tells fabulous stories that captivate you and keep your attention from the first page to the last page. Definitely an author that you will want to keep on your go-to list. If you enjoy reading a steamy book with lots of sex, then you will enjoy this book. A truly fascinating inspiring read.

Truly Madly Whiskey In this extremely hot, stand alone book, Melissa Foster sets the pages on fire with the attraction between Crystal and Bear. I don’t know how she does it, but Melissa Foster makes you want to crawl inside the pages of her books to get even closer to her characters! Crystal is a damaged, closed off woman who helps her best friend Gemma run a party boutique while staying far away from the opposite sex. Bear Whiskey is a mechanic, bartender, and motorcycle club member who has fell head over heels for the smart mouthed Crystal. After 8 months of chasing, Bear finally catches Crystal. Not understanding why she had been dodging him, she finally tells him the horror of her life through college: her parents loosing their home, her father’s subsequent death from a drunk driver, her sexual assault in college and her alcoholic mother. After all she had been through, all Bear wants to do is protect her. So, giving her Harley, a small kitten, her walls start to crumble. This smoking hot story will make you want to cuddle closer to your significant other when you real Crystal and Bear’s tale of how they fell in love. Melissa Foster has a way with words and keep you wanting more. I can’t wait to read her next story!

As many of you know I love Melissa Foster and all her books! So I couldn't wait to read Truly, Madly, Whiskey. Melissa is one of those authors that everything she writes is amazing. So I knew I was going to love this book too. Bear and Crystal are the cutest couple. They honestly complete each other and need each other to grow. They are each other's missing piece of the puzzle. They have the love and attraction and connection that I've always dreamed of having with someone. Crystal had a difficult life growing up! A neglectful, alcoholic, mentally abusive mother was one thing but being raped and no support afterwards is just heartbreaking. It's surprising she became the strong and amazing woman she did. She is so strong and definitely someone to look up to. I was so glad to see her overcome all these hard things and be a woman that could stand up for herself and open her heart and break down the walls. She had such a great support system! Bear has a awesome family even if they are a little presumptuous in thinking they know what everyone needs and wants. Bear has such a huge amazingly strong and caring heart but he needs to learn to say no. His family is strong and help so many. I need a bear! What's not to love? A sexy biker with a big heart is a complete package. The way he takes care of crystal is so swooning. I love it! This book was amazing and I definitely recommend it! Also check out all the other books in the series. They can all be read alone and no cliffhangers and all happy ever afters. Get it today!

Love is patience I am truly and madly in-love with Bear. My goodness this man has the longest patience over the entire men universe. Love is patience is what his motto is. It is all worth in the end. He is very funny, persistence and panty melting drop dead handsome. I cannot believed Crystal makes him suffer that long. This is one roller coaster book of emotions to read. It is very emotional. It is one of the best book I read this month. I think I need to reread it again.

I loved being witness to Crystal overcoming her fears and finding reconcilliation with her past. And of course falling love with a man who loved her unconditonally. Great read and I'm looking forward to reading more about the Whiskey family.

Oh, Bear... If you were a real life guy, I'd give you a hug because dude, your patience was above and beyond anything I'd ever seen before. To be completely honest, I wasn't a fan of Crystal's. I get it; she went through something traumatizing in her past and it's why she is the way she is. However, I think that she knew what she was doing when it came to Bear. She knew he was waiting for her to make up her mind about them, and instead of letting him go, she was never truly firm about her stance on him pursuing someone else because if she were truly honest with herself from the beginning, she wanted him as much as he wanted her. I loved that Bear was understanding and that he cared enough about Crystal to constantly check in with her every time he attempted something, but too much of anything is never good, and it got to the point where asking her if something he was doing was okay became tiresome. But I loved Bear and his perseverance, so four stars go to Truly, Madly, Whiskey. ♥

Bearded, tattooed, biker Bear is not my style, usually. Bear in Truly, Madly, Whiskey is entirely my style. This is a good reminder to not judge a person by their looks because looks can be deceiving. Bear is a tough, alpha male but he has the absolute biggest heart EVER! When it is decided that you are important to him there is nothing you can do to stop him from taking care of you, loving you, and protecting you. Melissa Foster takes her readers on a rollercoaster of emotions with Bear and Crystal. Crystal can deny her feelings all she wants but there is no doubt to anyone else that these two belong together and nothing will keep them apart. Crystal has a ton of issues to work through but Bear has no fear that nothing that she is dealing with can turn him off of her. Bear has a few things happening in his life also. He has to decide what his future will hold and how he will get to where he wants to be in his career. There are so many other amazing characters that I am anxious to know more about. Bones, Bullet, and Dixie are all siblings of Bear that I am sure will have their own stories to tell. I am excited for this set of characters to continue. I definitely recommend picking up your own copy ASAP.

Bear is a sexy biker who has had his eye on Crystal for a while. He dreams of her but does she feel the same way? They are just friends to start out but he wants more and hopes she does as well. This read grabbed me from the beginning and kept me reading because of the steam and the chase. Crystal is a sassy girl who thinks she is just fine until she finds out bear is into her. She is a character that I loved reading about. This book was an awesome read and one I actually will go back and read again just for fun.

Crystal and Bear both have issues that they are working through. I loved how patient and loving Bear was to Crystal. The style of writing just pulls you in and the story flows so well. This is a romantic, loving, and sensual read! Get comfy and escape into Crystal and Bear's world. You will not be disappointed. FYI, includes mature content. Truly, Madly, Whiskey has now become my latest favorite! I couldn’t put this book down, I finished reading it in 2 days. In this book we meet Bear, yup that’s his name. With a name like Bear you would think he’s tough, burly and mean. But this Bear is so sweet and so HOT… GROWL! We also meet Crystal, she is a tough girl inside and out. But Bear finds away to claw his way through the toughness and makes her fall in love. This book is filled with passion and more! Trust me you will not put it down either.

Wow what a awesome read this was. Melissa Foster has done a great job with this story. A home run. It was an enjoyable read and I couldn't put it down the moment that I got this book. I really loved Bear. He was a wonderful character. He was sweet, sexy, patient, kind. Everything that a girl could ask for. I loved how Melissa wrote his character. Crystal at times I was not happy with her but then there were times that I felt sorry for her beacuse of her past. At the end I did end up liking her. I really loved how Melissa captured Cthe emotions with the character you could feel them right with Crystal with her past. She written it very well. A fantastic read that you don't want to miss out on. I am eagerly waiting for more. I hope you pick this book up. I highly recommend it. I received a ARC of this book from BeckVelly Book Tours to give a honest review. All reviews are 100% my own.

3 stars I was so looking forward to this book. I loved the first one in this series! LOVED it ! But this one was not what I expected. Bear was awesome if Tru Blue. He was kinda cool in this book. The problem I had was believing that this awesome guy (who was also a Biker) would be ok with Chrystal's hot and cold routine the entire book. She has had things happen to her that has shaped who she is. I will not undervalue what has happened to her in her past, but she was so hot and cold with poor Bear that I was hoping he would move on and find someone else. Even though this book was just ok, I was still happy I read it. I loved seeing Tru again... I loved him. And the kids. And I will still read to see what happens with everyone else in the future books!

I’ve been out of the book review game for a while but boy oh boy, was this the right one to get me back on track! Those that know me are aware of my Melissa Foster fangirl status. That being said I really can’t stand reading a book if it doesn’t pull me in. I hadn’t been reading much in the recet past and I was hoping this book would grab me…..and boy did it! I found it hard to put down after the first page pulled me in, with an uncanny resemblance to my own life in a few ways. I was hooked (and that’s even before Bear entered the pic)! I absolutely loved the evolution of Crystal. Watching her learn, grow and persevere over any and all obstacles made me love her and seeing her ultimate strong girl moment at the end made me love her even more! Crystal needed a strong Bear of a man to pull her out of the protective shell she’d built around herself. She neded him to help her find out which version of her was the real one……or had she even found it yet? This book is a must read! From the beautiful love story to the heartbreaking family issues that both Bear and Crystal deal with over time, this book has it all. Can Crystal overcome the past that made her continually reinvent herself or can she move on and have the life she always wanted (and the life her father most likely wanted her to have).

The story was well written, the plot interesting, and the characters were enjoyable. While I'm not a huge fan of 3rd person point of view, I was able to stay focused and overall, enjoyed this steamy romance. There are some very steamy sexy time scenes, just so you know. And while I liked both main characters, Crystal and Bear, at times they seemed a bit over the top in how much they had to hash things out. They seemed to talk about the same things over and over. I found myself skimming the pages after several repeat conversations. But overall, I did enjoy the story. The characters, who cross over into past books and will be featured in future books, were all pretty fun and complex.
