Loved this book! It had such wonderfully developed characters & the story was much more than just boy meets girl.... fall in love.... happily ever after. I really enjoyed the twists & turns the author blended to make a beautiful story & I also giggled at the crazy goat ;) And who doesn't love a couple of hot cowboys! I will be reading more by Jeannie Marts. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Charlie Ryan wanted to escape. She needed away from the big city and her cheating ex-fiancée. When she arrives at the ranch that she inherited from her grandmother, she knows that she belongs. Zack Cooper, the local veterinarian, sees her in town and is attracted. Charlie is drawn to his gentleness and kindness. He makes her feel a longing that she thought was dead. Will love find her at Tucked Away? I liked Charlie and her infectious personality. She is so full of life and is so giving. Zack is more cautious. He has been hurt by his ex-wife. Sparks fly whenever these two are together. The story has interesting secondary characters that add drama and humor to the small Montana town. Jennie Marts captures the love and laughter that her characters feel with her writing. This story has it all. There is passion, hurt, suspense and a hint of paranormal. I stayed up late reading Tucked Away. I loved it! I enjoy a second chance romance. I can't wait for more in this series. I would like to learn more about the sexy ranch hand, Cash.

Tucked Away by Jennie Marts is book one in the series, Hearts of Montana. First, let me say that I am a Florida girl. I’m sure my blood is as thin as water. So I have no idea why I seem to be fixated on books about sexy Montana cowboys. Well, maybe that’s the answer. This book pretty much fills every one of my Montana fantasies. Plenty of cowboys, beautiful country side, and lots of cute, adorable farm animals. Well, maybe one not so cute and adorable. Charlie Ryan has lived in New York all her life. She wears designer clothes and spends her free time enjoying all that New York has to offer. But that all changed the day she came home earlier than expected and caught her fiance with his secretary. After spending a few weeks with her mother, she is contacted by a lawyer telling her she has inherited a ranch in Broken Falls, Montana called Tucked Away. It was owned by Gigi, a Grandmother she never knew existed, who has recently passed away. Charlie packs up her possessions and decides a fresh start is just what she needs. How hard could life on a Montana ranch be? Her first hour on her new property is spent trapped in her car by a ginormous angry looking bull. “Something about Montana gets under your skin. It changes you.” Soon, though, Charlie discovers that she feels a peace here she never knew existed. She feels a sense of belonging, of home. Her new circle of friends will soon include Cash, the oh so handsome and flirty ranch hand, Cherry, the owner and operator of the town diner, and cute, bubbly little thirteen year old Sophie. And then there was Zack, the sexy town veterinarian. One look at him and all sorts of warm and tinglies woke up that Charlie thought had long gone into hibernation. “What is it about a cowboy? She was used to men in business suits and white, starched shirts. She knew by his build if a man was fit, but the display of skin and muscle and pure maleness that she had seen in the short time she had been in Montana was intoxicating.” Zack Cooper has his own trust issues. His wife abandoned he and his baby daughter thirteen years ago. He has kept his heart closed up ever since. Until he met the new city girl that just moved to town. But can he take the chance that she is here to stay? That she won’t break his heart just like his ex-wife did? Together Zack and Charlie tentatively begin to give in to the attraction they feel. Charlie, though, really struggles with her own self worth. Her father abandoned her and her boy friend cheated on her. Can she take a risk with Zack. While trying to adjust to her new life, though, Charlie begins to realize everything she thought she knew, everything her own mother led her to believe was true, wasn’t. And what about her Grandmother Gigi’s death? Was it really just an accident or was there more to it than that. Along with everything else, there is a railroad man who keeps pestering her to sell her farm. When Charlie first came to the farm, she had no knowledge what-so-ever of farm life. She had never even owned a gold fish. So I loved watching her marvel over the birth of a calf or a litter of brand new kittens. Or helping Zack with an injured stray dog. Charlie may have doubted her own self worth or bravery but in my eyes, she was such a strong woman. She adapted to her new life with wonder and gusto. But with the new found happiness, also came heart break as everything is suddenly in jeopardy. There are a million things going on at the same time and my heart was beating out of my chest as Charlie struggled in her new life. Is she strong enough to stay and fight for what she wants, or will she just pack her belongings back up and try again somewhere else? This really was a wonderful, sweet and humorous story of two people finding the strength to open their hearts to love again and of a Grandmother’s love for a grand daughter she never got the chance to meet. If I ever did venture to Montana, Tucked Away seems like the perfect place to be.

I really enjoyed this story, and found myself not wanting to put it down. You can't help but fall in love with the characters! As is typical with all her books, Jennie Marts infuses humor throughout the story. More than once, I found myself laughing out loud.

LOVED this story! Funny from the beginning, it keeps you involved and allows you to get to know the characters and brings out the emotions, especially the mean guy. The details on the description of the characters and the farm and town are magnificent. Wonderful story and can't wait for the next story.

Another wonderful story from Jennie Marts. I have just finished Tucked Away, a sweet romance with lots of love, laughter and a little mystery thrown in. Charlie Ryan, a young woman jilted by her fiancé leaves the big city life for a new start in Montana on a farm left to her by her grandmother she never new she had. Wanting only to get away from men and start over the first thing she does is run into two handsome cowboys and one smart young teenager that's about to teach her what life on the farm is all about. Laughter, romance, love and heartache abound as well as mystery in this wonderful story. I laughed out loud and couldn't put it down.

Charlie is given the chance for a new start when her life life in NYC goes up in flames. Visiting the ranch her grandmother she never met leaves her she never anticipated that it would feel like home. I love all the characters in this book. They have all their own personalities. I felt for Charlie her life is about to be turned upside down while she's trying to find her way in a relationship with Zack.

3.5 stars Tucked Away was a quick, sweet read. I liked the characters and storyline. It took a while for me to get into it as it was a little slow in the beginning but overall it was a good read.

What a great book full of honest realistic feelings of a woman trying to start new.  I liked Charlie in this story.  She's a hurt independent woman looking for a new start and getting away from her old life.  I loved her first meetings with the new people in Montana.  Several funny scenes of no privacy and everyone in your business.  The town was lovely and a tight knit community.  I adored their interactions and the selflessness of all the characters.  Zack and Sophie were a great depiction of what family should be.  The drama and angst was at times heartbreaking and saddening, a little maddening, but I loved the ending.  A sweet beautiful story from beginning to end. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher.

Charlie, is having a bad year because she finds out that her fiancee is cheating on her and has stolen all of her saving. She also discovers a grandmother she never knew has died and left a ranch in Montana. She travels there and meets two eligible bachelors and a really sweet teenager. She makes a new life and learns a lot about herself and her family. Will she find true love? Read and find out! I liked main characters in this book. Charlie was spunky, funny, and interesting. Unfortunately I felt the book was cluttered by to many supporting character (family members) with huge secrets that distracted from the main point of a romance novel, creating a relationship between the leading couple.  I was given a ARC  for an honest review from the publisher Engtangled  Publishing.

I was so excited to read this book by Jennie Marts, have enjoyed her previous books, and I loved this book. City girl Charlie, has uprooted her New York life to move to Montana, she inherited her grandmother's farm. I was laughing from the first page, when she was trapped in the car by a bull. What a way to have a fresh start in life. She meets Zack, town vet who is very content in life and raising his daughter. There is plenty of humor, romance and a touch of mystery in this story. The characters grabbed my heart and would not let go. If you like small town contemporary romance, this is the story for you you. Looking forward to the next story in Hearts of Montana. I received this book form NetGalley for an honest review.

Loved it! Reasons why I loved this book (and other Jennie Marts books): 1) Her details and descriptions put me right there in the book. I can totally imagine everything that is happening. 2) She's the queen of one-liners! Just reading along and BAM laugh-out-loud humor! 3) Her characters think some hilarious things (and deep down I've thought them all at least once in life). 4) She's never short on interesting characters. 5) And many more reasons... I highly recommend this book! I received an Advanced Reading Copy for an honest review.

WONDERFUL STORY about a gal who finds her heart and her love in Montana..city gal , country boy... ***A gifted copy was provided by the publisher for an honest review*** Charlie Ryan is a plucky woman. She had a cheating fiancée who left her heart broken and an even broker bank account. Everything in her life has just gone belly up. She is just about done for when she's inherited a Montana farm named Tucked Away from a grandmother she never knew existed. Charlie thinks her luck is changing and changing for the better. Charlie is someone who never gave up hope.  She ends up making a fresh start in Montana, and soon meets Sophie who is a very precious 13 year old who knows a lot for her age. She knows a lot about cooking, farming, and just life in general on a farm than someone her age should know or even is aware of. They become great friends who hang out, bake and go shopping for more weather appropriate clothing for Montana-including items colored Pink. Zack Cooper owns and runs the local vet practice. He’s Sophie’s dad who happens to be single and doesn't trust women especially after his ex-wife did a cut and run, then left him holding the baby-LITERALLY. His daughter is the woman he’s going to let into his heart - until he meets Charlie. Their reciprocal interest and hesitation to act on their feelings means life as they know it is about to get lively for them both! This story has multiple other stories running through it at the same time. I found it ok but I would have liked the story to stay on the main characters because it made it hard to keep focus. I liked this story because there was the storyline of suspicion of murder, someone trying to buy the farm for a railroad company, past secrets revealed, missing parents turning up, double dealing, misunderstandings, attempted rape and arson involved in this extremely rapid tale which I found entertaining from start to finish. The author has everything going at pretty much the same time. I will admit it was hard to keep up the frantic pace of keeping my eyes going on one thing. I did wish the main characters had their ending followed up. A wrap up so to speak of how they were doing after the ending of the story so I would know how they were doing. I guess that is being nitpicky but due to pace of the story, I would have liked to have seen that at least. I did like the pairing of the main characters and I liked their chemistry so overall this was a good book .I would have rated this higher but felt the pace was frantic. The author did have a good way with her words and did get across how the characters were feelings so I will say this is a good book to read.  My rating: 4.0 stars ****

This book was so much more than I expected it to be. I have read many of this Author's books and love the unique way she can unfold a story. When I first read the synopsis of Tucked Away it sounded like a cute romance set in the country. But, this book became so much more. There was humor, love and mystery.  The characters found a way into my heart. The characters were original and the author did a great job revealing pieces of their back story throughout the book. I felt like I knew these fictional characters in real life. I was rooting for the main character Charlie throughout. She made me laugh out loud many times. I could identify with Charlie , even though she lived a life very different from mine. The experiences she has in this story change her, and evolving characters make a story feel realistic to me.  There were many turns and twists in this book that were unexpected and kept me engaged.  I love reading books that can take me to another place, can wrap me up in the emotions of the book and keep me wanting more.  Well written, fun book to read. I highly recommend it.  (ARC provided by Entangled Publishing in exchanged for an honest review)

I thought this one was awesome!! Really enjoyed all the different relationships being built in this one. After Charlie Ryan finds herself without a boyfriend and broke she decides to uproot her NY life and go to the farm she inherited from the grandmother she never knew. This small town and all it's residents are endearing and welcoming and slowly Charlie finds herself really liking it at Tucked Away, and it has nothing to do with the hot sexy vet, Zach Cooper. Nope. Nothing at all. If you love small town romances as much as I do, this is one you want to read. I highly recommend it.

Expect the unexpected would be how I viewed this story. Charlie never expected to find herself broke and single after her fiance cheats on her and empties her bank account. With no other options she decides to take a look up an inheritance a Montana farm left to her by grandmother she never knew about. Swearing off men she sets about her journey of self discovery. Of course, that lasts all of five seconds before she meets Zach, the local vet. Zach likes his life just the way it is. Yet he is intrigued by Charlie. Is he ready to put his heart on the line? Tucked Away is a story about heartbreak, self discovery and enjoying the simple things in life. A funny and heartwarming inspirational read. Received Tucked Away By Jennie Marts for an honest review.

This book was provided by Netgalley, in exchange for a honest review. This was my introduction to author Jennie Marts, and I must admit, her book made a very good first impression. So much so, I look forward to reading and purchasing more of her books. To be honest, I had a little trouble getting into the book at first, and it wasn't until chapter three that I felt the book really start to capture my attention. Once I hit chapter three I really felt a shift in the story and began to feel the characters pull me into their world. I enjoyed the details she put into the describing the town, it gave me a good picture of the little town. And I liked the way she was able to add in a backstory for each character, without taking from the original plot of the story, everything had nice flow, and was easy to follow. After reading the synopsis I was expecting a light hearted love story, but I was pleasantly surprised by all the twists and turns in the story. It had a little bit of everything; mystery, romance, humor and a assortment of very likeable, dynamic characters. I highly recommend that you give this book a try, it is a very engaging and heartwarming story!

After finding her fiancé cheating with his secretary on her sofa, city girl Charlie Ryan is broken hearted. That’s it. She’s had enough of him, men and life in NYC, especially as she has just inherited a farm called ‘Tucked Away’ from the grandmother she never knew she had! She packs up her things and drives off to Montana and the farm. Life gets interesting from when she arrives, runs out of fuel and is trapped in her rental car by a bull!  She’s determined to make the most of this opportunity for a fresh start - without men spoiling it for her. She soon meets Sophie a knowledgeable thirteen year old who knows much more about cooking, baking and life on a farm than Charlie has ever dreamed of. They quickly become great friends and Sophie really helps her out, starting by taking her shopping for more appropriate clothes and some cowboy boots - actually, some hot-pink cowboy boots! Zack Cooper owns and runs the local veterinary practice. He’s a single father, Sophie’s dad and doesn't trust women after his ex-wife left him literally holding the baby. His daughter is the only female he’s going to allow into his heart ever again - until he meets Charlie. Their mutual attraction and reluctance to act on it means life’s about to get interesting for them both! As well as the love interest between Charlie and Zach, this story has lots of additional stories running through it. There’s the suspicion of murder, someone trying to buy the farm for a railroad company, past secrets revealed, missing parents turning up, double dealing, misunderstandings, attempted rape and even arson involved in this fast paced tale which I found entertaining from start to finish. It has a real story to it that keeps the reader enthralled and I’ll certainly be looking for other books by this author in future! Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
