Overview

When all hope is gone, can love still find a way?

Tucker Simon has given up on love. After a tragedy, it's just not in the cards for him, and he wishes his family would get off his back. He's fine—or at least he thought he was–until a family wedding forces him to address a few things, namely his date, Abby Mathews. She's been put in the 'friend' category, mostly because she deserves so much more than what he can give. But the more time that he spends with her, Tucker begins to think that maybe there is a chance for love after all...

Abby Mathews has been in love with Tucker Simon since he walked into her family's bar nearly a year ago. But he's got baggage and heartache a plenty. His one-night-stands aren't going to lessen that no matter what he thinks. Tucker needs a friend, but Abby wants to give him more, and as they navigate their way through a weekend in Florida, their attraction can't be ignored. Abby has to make a choice. Does she cherish their friendship and take what she can get? Or does she go after what she really wants, which is Tucker's heart...

Disappointed the author had to use the word f*** so often on every page. The book was less than 170 pages. Characters were fun. Would like to read the next in series but dont want to be reading f*** on every page. Another critque is when tucker referred to abby as "someone like her" to his brother and abby got upset as she should. She never demanded an explanation.....he looked at her and she turned to mush and they had sex....alittle too passive.

Although I enjoyed the plot of this book, I really became tired of the constant use of the "f" word throughout. I am not a prude, but I thought all of the gratuitous sex was a bit much.

While the story may have been a good one, you couldn't find it for all of the foul language. I tried to read around it but just couldn't. The English language is vast enough that one should not have to resort to bombarding the reader with foul language. Overuse causes loss of emphasis.

Fabulous story!! Juliana Stone captured an emotional depth not easy to reach. Can't wait for the next book!

Ok...so, after reading reviews I was really concerned. My take...yes there is sexy and foul language..,this would be a r rated book, but it is far from f word on every other page. Sex? Yes but not any more so and in fact less than many suthors. Story was good...intrigue, romance, rtc. Best book ever? Honestly, no. In truth I would give four solid stars and definitely read another by the author but considering all the negativity from some posts, I wanted to give her a sign of support. Fun read!

Absolutely amazing book! Spinning off of the Barker Triplets books but completely stand alone. Great characters, great pace, and a storyline that is unbelievably good. The twist near the end will have you gasping! Highly recommended read for everyone!

Tucker in my life. I love that the main characters knew one another longer than a week or two and had chemistry along with history, makes the story more enjoyable that way.

WOW! I started and ended in the same day because I just couldn't put it down. Juliana Stone has done yet amazing job with the new series. If you haven't read the Barker Triplets, then you really should before reading Tucker. It was nice to get a glimpse of previous characters in this book. My heart goes out to Tucker and Abby!  Thank you for sharing your talent

Perfection! When you find yourself gasping or yelling at the screen/pages or smirking with a head shake a gem has been found. Thank you Juliana Stone. Tucker is tortured and mwah sexy. Abby is the balm to heal his soul but urrrrggh that twist you threw in. This is only the 3rd book in my 40+ years that made me want to skip to the last chapter. I just had to know if it was an ending or beginning. Can't wait for Jack but Tucker's cousins....now those tales will undoubtedly be tall.

I picked up this book after reading (and loving) another book by this author. I enjoy her writing style and the various characters and storylines. I almost passed it by because of the many negative reviews (dated 2014-2015) that mentioned excessive foul language and detailed sex. I'm assuming that there must have been some major editing or rewriting since that time, as I picked up on very little swearing and the few sex scenes were HOT (love me some Tucker), but not overly explicit IMHO. This really is a good book, don't let the negative reviews dissuade you from checking it out! I will be on the lookout for other books by this author!

I'm wondering what book the other reviewers had read saying the f-bomb and sex was so prevelant. It's just not true. The story is an easy read and the story is enjoyable. All the Simon Family stories are unique and fun. There's a happy ending and a look forward towards the next book. Read and draw your own opinion. J

The guy waits until basically the last hour to ask a female to accompany him to one of his brothers wedding. They have issues about their relationship which keeps popping up during the wedding time frame. These issues continue after returning to New York. His big issue is whether to get involved because he is legally has a wife, who disappeared about 4 years ago. Read the book to find out; what happened to his wife? Also find out, if he continues with the new relationship?

Enjoyable This was a great story about a Tucker who is dealing with his wife being for a few years, her plane just disappeared. Abby was a bartender at her family bar, and they became friends. She helped him by being his plus one at a family wedding. But things get hot.

Really enjoyed this book and these characters. The whole family is fun and I want to read more but rather expensive. I can live without the graphic details of the sex but I know others enjoy it. I just skim over those parts. Good story though.

This was a good book. Liked the story. And the main characters had good chemistry. I really dont understand whats with all the reviews about not liking this book because of all the cursing. I dont remember reading any curse words in this book. Unless the author took them out. Overall, was a good book. Some hot and steamy parts, but not over the top stuff.
