About the Author

Anna Zaires fell in love with books at the age of five, when her grandmother taught her to read. She wrote her first story shortly thereafter. Since then, she has always lived partially in a fantasy world where the only limits were those of her imagination. Currently residing in Florida, Anna is happily married to Dima Zales (a science fiction and fantasy author) and closely collaborates with him on all their works.

This is one effed up book. However, I could not put it down, which I'm a little worried to analyze what that means about me! I don't think I entirely knew what I was getting myself into when I began this book. The concept is a bit far-fetched, in my opinion, but it was definitely a page-turner. It's very explicit, so if you're not into that, I wouldn't recommend this book. Very intense sexual scenes (I would NOT categorize them as "love" scenes) kind of made me wince every now and then, but the premise is an interesting one. That being said, I can't help but admit that I will be reading the second book!

Beautifully written, highly recommended, heart wrenching, suspenseful, dark erotica love story of Nora Weston who is kidnapped by a ruthless man, Julian, in Twist Me by Anna Zaires. Nora feels attracted to and scared of Julian as he lovingly and twistedly makes her his submissive. Nora is repelled by the thought that she is falling deeper and deeper in love with her captor. Read the captivating and engaging erotic story Twist Me by the talented writer Anna Zaires.

Dark, Exotic & Erotic Page Turner That Will Keep You Speculating Till the End At a club with her friend one night, almost eighteen year old Nora comes face to face with the gorgeous, dark, and mysterious man who sparks something inside her that she has never felt before and yet frightens her at the same time. Both of her instincts about him are correct; he will become her kidnapper and her lover.  Twist Me takes Nora and the reader to a secluded tropical island where captivity is also paradise, pain is also pleasure, and the line between foe and friend blurs away.  Twist Me is dark little vacation where Nora discovers the exotic beauty of the island and the man who possess it.  Julian, her kidnapper, is a man with secrets and over the course of Nora’s sojourn the secrets are revealed to her and the reader.  But the two are not alone; not only is Julian an enigma but so is the woman, Beth, who assists with her captivity.  By the time the three inhabit the island like a new version of Three’s Company, the author has twisted your perceptions of evil, confinement, safety, sanity, love, and loyalty.  Why has Julian brought Nora here? Where exactly is the island? How dangerous is Julian? Why is Beth so loyal to him? Has Nora fallen for her captor and does he love her back? How will Nora escape her tropical prison? Will she even escape it if given the chance?  The twists just keep coming. There isn’t a cliffhanger, per say, but there is more to the story to come in the sequel, Keep Me.  If you like dark unconventional romantic stories where everything isn’t black and white, this one is a must read! Put together E.L. James’s Fifty Shades of Grey and  J.M. Darhower’s Monster in His Eyes and you’ve got Twist Me.

Whether you are a psychology major needing a book to read about Stockholm syndrome, or just a individual who likes dark erotica this book is for you.  I didn't want to put it down due to the intense love scenes and actions.  Anna Zaires beautifully captures love, anxiety, and need in so many ways.  I highly recommend it!

Anna Zaires’ “Twist Me” is amazing! It’s dark and smutty and delicious. If you liked RAW by Belle Aurora, you’ll love this book – it’s everything RAW is without the crummy mindgame ending. The leading man, Julian, is hotter than Twitch, plus, he’s just a better man. The sex scenes are plentiful and hot, hot, hot! The leading lady, Nora, is very believable and you really find yourself alternating between empathizing with her predicament and being jealous of her hot hookups with Julian. I can’t wait to hear the rest of Nora and Julian’s story in “Keep Me” and I’ve already looked up some of Zaire’s other writings as well. Overall, a great read – I’m addicted – keep it coming Anna!

The relationship moves from fear to passion to lust in the series. You will not be disappointed

This is one of the best Dark Erotica books out there, and I have read quite a few. Be aware, this book is not for the easily offended - it deals with kidnapping, non-consent, BDSM (and not in the safe, sane, and consensual world of safe words), and a very young (barely 18) heroine. However, the power play between Nora and Julian makes much more sense with the age difference between them, and honestly, the whole point of a dark book is to deal with taboo fantasy scenarios. As for the book itself, the characters are engaging, the sex scenes are hot, and the plot is the perfect kidnap fantasy. Editing is spot on (thank you!) and I enjoyed the pacing of the plot. Overall, this is well worth the money, especially considering the level of most of the dark erotica out there. If forced to compare it to another author, I would probably go with something like Skye Warren's "Wanderlust" or possibly "His" or "Mine" by Aubrey Dark, although I think Ms. Zaire's work far surpasses all three of those.

Was not sure if I would enjoy this book even though I enjoy erotica as long as it has a good story plot. This was a very well written book. Anna captures the emotions and feeling of the girl so well you feel that you are the character. You don't understand the attraction the two have at first, captor and victim but as time goes on you see how Nora can feel both emotions of love and hate. Some true loves are just that a mixture of love and sometimes hate. The story was believable and pulled in. I look forward to reading more of Anna's book. She is truly a gifted writer.

As many of the reviewers have said you can not put it down. Is very well written and interesting. I did not like julian but at the same time it makes you wonder if he might be a good guy. I do not care for Nora either but you keep hoping that she will grow up. I did like Beth; eventhought you hardly know about her past live. I am nit sure if i will read the next obe or not, but i probably will. For me the writer did a good you with the story and she keeps bringing you back to the book because the author makes you want more.
