Two sermons preached in 1848 by the long-time pastor of the Tenth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA (Henry Augustus Boardman, 1808-1880) on two of the more common objections to the biblical doctrine of Divine Election. The titles of the discourses are: "The Doctrine of Election not Derogatory to God" and "The Doctrine of Election not Discouraging to Man." A Scripture Index has also been appended.
