This is one of my favorite books.

I wish it had been longer. I didn’t want it to end. It was beautifully written. I felt like I knew these women and could have been them. I am 72 years old and wonder how long I will be able to remain active and relevant. I sometimes make myself walk “younger” by standing straighter and moving faster. When these two women started using a cane they were seeing themselves as old and so did The People. Then they saw themselves reflected back at them as old through the People. They were tested in the harshest way and learned who they really were. It was a valuable lesson for them and for The People. I loved this story.

The only thing wrong with this book is that the author didnnt write a sequal or any thing more.
