This fast-paced novel had a very intriguing premise that was well carried out; the characters were likable, and the author made it easy to believe in the protagonist's unlikely "condition." While a few parts here and there left me a little skeptical -- Nat's relatively normal disposition despite his life of solitude, and the slightly cliche idea of a computer that controls the world -- for the most part I found it to be an excellent story. I was a tad put off by the partially open ending, as I'm not really a fan of cliffhangers, but I still think it was definitely worth the read.

How would it be to find no one remembered you after a minute? Not your mother, your lover or your boss? How would it be if you had no identity, no place in the world? You could be a thief, hustler, Hero or Villian. Then you would be forgotten as if you had been none of those things. This intriguing idea is the basis of this well written spy thriller. Well worth the read.

Unforgettable is a quick read, but the pacing works very well for the story. The main character is likeable, as well as the ancillary characters. It is set up for a sequel, so I'm looking forward to that. National is an anomaly of nature. A minute after he is seen he becomes forgotten. He uses this anomaly for the CIA. Hijinks ensue. Overall a very enjoyable quick read. Truly unforgettable.
