"There's not a soul in the world who hasn't been brought low at some point. What matters is what you do when you hit the bottom." Powerful and emotional are the two words I would use to describe this book. Our two main characters share a bond of what impact guilt and the pain of losing a loved one can have on your life. They have both done all they can to help a loved one dealing with addiction, but in the end, knowing they cannot save their loved one. They carry the guilt that comes with this knowledge and the "what ifs" that haunt them - what if I had been there? What if I had not left them alone? Damaged as they are, they feel this bond between them and reach for each other. They share their secrets and console each other. The chemistry between them extends further than the lust they feel for each other. It is a chemistry of their souls that brings them together to make them complete. Better than they were alone; complete with each other filling the gaps in each others souls. This Beachwood series is a favorite of mine. Each book is a standalone, but as you read the series, you become part of these families and this small town community. Each book enriches our knowledge of the characters as we see them deal with the obstacles they face, grow, love and come together as a family. The writing is top notch with a direct and sensitive approach to the psyche of the characters involved. Definitely recommended!

There are things that happen in life that will bring you to your knees and completely change the course of your life and who you are. Tegan Callahan has lost her boyfriend, spiraled into a well of deep depression, and spent time in rehabilitation putting herself back together again. She is on the other side of the tragedy and now just looking for a quiet, stable life. Quiet is the last thing she gets when she runs into Ryland James for the first time. Sparks fly and an extremely passionate kiss is shared, but Tegan has sworn off bad boys and runs from the encounter. Fast forward a few weeks and a couple of thousand miles, and who does she run into again? Ryland! Seems as if fate has thrown the two back together... Ryland James has also had a bit of a struggle lately. He has been working as the hired muscle for a truly ruthless man but wants out to return to a quiet life in his hometown. But his horrible boss has no interest is seeing Ryland leave his employment and seems to do whatever necessary to keep Ryland under his thumb. Will he finally be able to be truly free.. to live the life that he so desperately needs? I found Unstoppable to be a fun, easy read. I enjoyed getting to know Tegan, and my heart went out to her in regards to everything she has been through. I love Ryland's complexity and quiet strength as he fought his demons. This was the first book that I had read in the Beachwood Bay series, and there were times that I definitely wished that I had read the other 4 books first. I am very much looking forward to reading the backlist and cannot wait to see what Ms. Grace has in store for her readers next!

*ARC generously provided by the Author in exchange for an honest review* As always, Melody Grace gave her readers a supremely well-written story. The characters are great with real flaws, real strengths, and real passion. The story-line and discovering all the secrets will suck you in and keep you turning the pages. Unstoppable is a beautiful, emotional story of love and healing, second chances, moving on, and family. It is a story of two broken people searching for the impossible... a love strong enough to put the pieces of their broken hearts back together. And of course, the steamy sex will have you in a puddle of lust.

I have read the series and they all are good quick reads. The free books are 80 pages or less and the ones you pay for are 150 pages or more. You will fall in love with the characters in the books all struggling with their own past problems to over come and the love of their life to help them. They kinda remind me of another series I read and also recommend by Marie force - the McCarthys of Gansett Island. I can't wait for the next book. ??

I received an ARC and it's another AMAZING book by Melody Grace!! Tegan and Ryland meet by chance in Vegas and it's instant sparks!! She blows him off, thinking she'll never see him again. Boy, was she wrong! She's staying at her brother's house in Beachwood Bay and one day there is the guy from Vegas!!! I love these Beachwood Bay stories, each time I fall in love with each character's story!! Tegan and Ryland are so in love and he does the ultimate sacrifice for their love, to protect Tegan and his family! Thank goodness there is a happy ending! I look forward to more Beachwood Bay stories!

Fantastic! Tegan's the younger sister of rock star, Dex (previous book, Uninhibited) who is looking for stability & solace in Beachwood Bay.  "I told myself, no more bad boys. I thought I'd be safe here in a small town like this. Nothing but good, apple-pie-eating, church-going, future-husband-material men for miles." Then she runs into Ryland, the guy she briefly met in Vegas.  "Just when I swear I'm going to start making healthy emotional choices, he comes around: tempting as the devil, and twice as dangerous."  While each fighting their own emotional & personal issues, these two can't deny their chemistry. The storyline was well developed, and flowed nicely with a perfect mix of story & steamy scenes. There was also enough interaction with characters from previous books to satisfy those who've read them, without confusing or bogging down the story for any who haven't. (But you should! Bc they're all pretty great).  This was one of my favorites of the series. I loved Tegan from the last book, and she was as fun as I'd hoped! Ryland was sexy and sweet, even with his bad boy rep. A perfect mix.  "I kissed her, and F*ck, every broken piece of the world falls right into place again."

I want to start off by thanking Melody Grace for giving me the opportunity to read Unstoppable early. The Beachwood Bay series is one of my favorite series. I adore all the characters and love that I am able to go along with them on their journey to find love. Unstoppable follows Ryland James and Tegan Callahan; this would be book 2 in The Callahan’s direction of the Beachwood Bay series. Ryland or Ray Jay as some might remember him as from Unbroken, is the estrange brother of Emerson (Unbroken) and Brit (Unafraid). He returns home to Beachwood Bay after being gone for many years hoping he can leave his past behind and start a new life for himself. I felt that Ryland’s story in Unstoppable kind of made the story of the James family come full circle and complete, which made me happy. Tegan Callahan is the baby and the only girl of the Callahan siblings. After a going through the past year in a pretty dark place, Tegan is ready for something new and that new doesn’t include anymore bad boys. Leaving LA and her past that keeps haunting her, Tegan sets out on her own to Beachwood Bay to find that new start. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Tegan and Ryland never thought they would see again the stranger that they shared a mind blowing kiss with in Vegas that is until their paths cross again in Beachwood Bay. Tegan and Ryland share more than just their uncontrollable desire for each other, their past is a lot more similar than they can imagine.  I liked Unstoppable, but for me it felt like it was lacking some of the magic the other books in the series had. The reason I gave it only 3.5 stars is because the ending felt too rushed and very abrupt. The entire story also seemed to be a little rushed, never giving the time for the characters to fully develop. The instant attraction and need for each other seemed to be fast and repetitive since it kept being brought up. These are just my issues and mine alone, this is still a very good story and perfect for someone looking for a fast paced read about second chances that also has some really good heat! I still love this series and can’t wait for Unexpectedly Yours.

This book starts out really well. The opening scene was interesting enough that you want to keep going. The writing style isn’t bad. There are chapters from his and her POV. Most of them are from her POV though and I wanted more from his POV. Mainly because just doing it every once in a while is weird to me. Either commit and do POV back and forth or not at all. Also would have been cool to get a POV from the characters in the next book to get an idea of where that’s headed. Just a little peak so that the torture of waiting for the story is that much better. It makes me want to read the next book more when I get a little insight into the characters in the next book.  This was also a book that you can read at a slower pace and be ok with. Some books I read I have to read in one sitting. I just can’t stop. However if you need to stop aka need to sleep because you work then this book will let you do it. Its good enough that you get excited to start it again, but also can stop and go to sleep or go do whatever it is you need to do. Since I read this during the week it workout for me. I like to save books I can’t stop reading for the weekend when I actually have that time to dedicate to read them.  Now this is a book you can read as a standalone, but it is part of a series. It takes place in the same area with characters that are interconnected. It wasn’t bad to read as a standalone, but I think you get more out of it if you have read the others. Plus you fall in love with certain characters and the following books allow you to check in with them.  The ending felt a little easy. I felt like we were building up to more of a climax than what actually happened. Also I want to know what happens more to the characters. I guess that can come from the next book since it deals with characters in the same universe and even the same family. However I think there is a way to give the reader a little more without giving anything away for the next book. I just really wanted to get more of where the characters go because its very up in the air. She doesn’t have a life plan and he doesn’t either. Its very much “Where do we go from here?” without answering that question. I like answers so I wanted to know.

Tegan and Ryland met by chance near the end of Unihibited and I loved the way their story was set up. It was a perfect introduction, the setting seemlessly connecting them and their backgrounds, leading us to where we meet them again in present day. Both have deep emotional scarring, both fighting their own demons, both searching for peace and redemption. When we were introduced to Tegan in Dex and Alicia's story, I couldn't wait to find out more. Even from the snippets I had then, I knew she was a tortured soul with a heartbreaking story to tell. I connected with Tegan straight away and as more of her story was revealed, I was really moved by what she had to overcome and I admired her resolve and strength to keep going. Tegan comes to Beachwood Bay, staying in Dex and Alicias' house, to get away from all her painful memories and try to find some peace in her world, some way of reconciling the thoughts in her head with how to move on and find happiness after what she had witnessed and experienced. She never really forgot that one stolen kiss with Ryland, but she wasn't in the right head space for a relationship so resigned herself to never seeing him again. How could she know that his family resided in Beechwood Bay and that their connection would soon be re-ignited. Ryland has demons of his own as a result of a painful upbringing and having to cope with his mothers failings. He has tried to shield his sister and brother from the ugly side of her addictions and, as a result, ended up in Vegas trying to pay back a debt to an unsavory character, hence his first meeting with Tegan. He never forgets her after that night but also resigns himself to never seeing her again. When he sees her in Beechwood Bay he feels his luck has changed and vows not to let her get away again so easily. As with Tegan, I connected easily with Ryland and how he had tried to shield his siblings and take on so much himself. He had such a protective nature and when he starts to break down Tegan's walls that is never more evident. I really felt the chemistry between this pair with sizzling sexual tension and hot and steamy sexy times. Tegan fought her feelings for Ryland, believing that she was not going to have her history repeated with another bad boy, but Ryland really came into his own and helped her see what true love looks like, as she did with him. I liked the depth to both of these characters and I loved how they both moved on together, supported each other and became the solace that they so desperately needed. I only started reading this series with Dex and Allicia's novella Unrequited and I was never confused as to the other characters in the story. They were well integrated into Unstoppable, but I am intrigued by the characters in the previous books so will definitely be going back and reading from the beginning as well as reading the next in the Callaghan siblings tales.

This was another great read by Melody Grace. She writes compelling characters who come to life on the page and make your heart smile and ache right along with them.  Tegan and Ryland are both scarred and hurt, but are looking for something to make them whole again. When a chance encounter in Vegas leaves them both remembering a passion-filled kiss that may have held promises, they are both taken by surprise to cross paths once again in the small community of Beachwood Bay. I just love how Melody Grace takes you on a journey with her characters, through the ups and downs, the self-doubts and self-recriminations, and then ultimately lands you in a place where taking a risk with your heart again is the only thing that seems to make sense.  It was fun catching up with other characters and I really love the entire Callahan family – and boy do I feel bad for Tegan being the little sister to three dominating alpha men! My only complaint about the book was with the ending. It seemed to wrap up a bit quickly and I felt like I needed a little bit more closure around things for the characters to have felt really safe with how things turned out. All in all, another great installment to the Beachwood Bay series, one I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a HEA wrapped around great characters, a bit of angst, and a whole lot of fun. I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I feel like I’ve said this a time (or twenty) in the past, but I think I have to say it again. I freaking love Melody Grace’s books. I love her characters and their stories. She has a way of writing good, believable romance with drama that never becomes too angsty. Unstoppable was a great addition to her Beachwood Bay series. Unstoppable is the story of Tegan and Ryland. We’ve met Tegan, Dex Callahan’s sister, previously in the series. She was spunky and fiery and I didn’t really know what to think of her. Well, I got the full story in Unstoppable and I gotta say, I liked that girl. She had a rough past that made my heart ache for her. Being that he’s Emerson and Brittany’s brother, Ryland might have popped up previously in the series. He’s been absent from their lives for quite awhile, so I’m not sure. (Confession: I haven’t read ALL the Beachwood Bay books. I need to rectify this as soon as possible.) Ryland was a complicated guy, but one who I really liked. He’s protective of those he cares about, nearly to a fault. When the book starts, he had just gotten himself out from under some pretty big debts from a really scary guy. He’s celebrating in Vegas when he meets Tegan for the first time. Tegan and Ryland meet in Vegas and share one passionate kiss and go their separate ways. Fate’s not done with them, however, as they find themselves in front of each other again back in Beachwood Bay. The chemistry they shared in Vegas definitely wasn’t a one-time thing. Neither of them is looking for anything serious, and the secrets they’re hiding become giant obstacles for any future they might have shared, but it just might be worth taking a chance. I loved these characters. I found their stories unique and I rooted for them as a couple right from the very beginning. They worked so well together. They challenged each other and their attraction was obvious. I enjoyed watching them overcome their pasts and what they thought they wanted out of life to try to make things work together. Neither of them was perfect, but somehow together, they were. I can’t wait to see what the Beachwood Bay series will bring us next. And I really do need to go back and read the other books so I can put all the pieces together. I’ve loved each of the characters and couples Melody has introduced us to. They keep popping up in later books and I feel like I might be missing important parts of the series. So, no time like the present to fix that, right? I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Tegan Callahan is doing her best to come back from a year of heartbreak, a year of losing herself. Ryland James is ready to put his past behind him, to make a life that is permanent and real. Neither one would guess that a chance meeting in Las Vegas would bring them both everything that they're looking for. Melody Grace has a gift for writing characters that are complicated, that have pasts that are not perfect nor pretty. She is also gifted at crafting a story that shows the strength that is born out of such pain, and bringing imperfect people together to create a perfect whole. Her Beachwood Bay series has become one of my absolute favorites ever. The characters feel like old friends, and the sense of community draws me more deeply in each time I read about this lovely little town in coastal North Carolina. UNSTOPPABLE is the fifth book in this series, and is Tegan's and Ryland's story. I fell in love with Ryland from the moment he approached Tegan. He knows exactly what he wants, and he takes it, and Tegan, for all of her brokenness, gives back as good as she gets. Two people that have dealt with loss and pain, they smooth away the rough edges in each other, and allow real healing and growth to occur. I feel like each installment in this series just gets better, and UNSTOPPABLE is no exception. I was hooked from the opening scene, and could not put it down. Watching the relationship between Tegan and Ryland unfold was both heartbreaking and uplifting, as well as, oh, my goodness, sexy as all getout. The heat between the two of them is absolutely palpable, and had me fanning myself more than once. And getting to revisit and learn more about Brit, Hunter, Blake, and Zoey made the story even more real and rich. As with the rest of the Beachwood Bay books, I cannot recommend UNSTOPPABLE enough, and cannot wait to read UNWRITTEN, Zoey's and Blake's story.

4.5 Star Rating Tegan Callahan is still recovering from her last boyfriend over dosing on heroine. She needs to stay away from those bad boys. They're no good for her. She needs to get away, so she goes to her brother's vacation house in Beachwood Bay. On her way there she passes through Vegas and stops at the Bellagio. While sitting at the bar she meets Ryland. The chemistry is off the charts but again, NO MORE BAD BOYS! After he kissed her, showing her what she'd be missing if she turned him down, she ran. When she gets to Beachwood Bay and her car breaks down, who stops to help her? RYLAND!!! It must be fate. The tragedy she suffered with Connor was traumatic. Ryland has a few tragedies in his life as well. Together they must decide if the love between them is enough to get over the past. Sizzling chemistry! Tegan and Ryland are a match made in Heaven. I love his dedication to his brother and sister and hers to her brothers. I would have liked a little more depth and detail at the end but it was still a fantastic story. Ryland has lived life hard for the past seven years.  The day he walked out on his older brother and sister changed his life forever.  Some of the things he has been forced to do over those years have not been things he is proud of doing.  He did them to take care of his family and expected nothing in return for himself.  Ryland never thought he would have that one special person made just for him until the night he looked across a Vegas bar and saw Tegan. Tegan has had a blessed life.  A family that has loved her cared for her and protected her from the bad things in life.  They could not protect her however from love.  A love that was a lie filled with deceit and betrayal.   When the unthinkable happened and the man she had loved for years betrays her, Tegan walks away.  Regret causes her to suffer a breakdown and her brothers put her in rehab.  She has slowly healed and is once again starting to live and she promises herself that there will be no more bad boys for her.  Until the night she encounters a beautiful man’s eyes from across a bar in Vegas. Will Ryland and Tegan be able to leave their past behind?  Can they find a way to heal each other’s broken hearts? Read this book and be ready to laugh, cry and feel good! Hero –Ryland James: 4 stars Heroine –Tegan Callahan: 4 stars Steam: 4 stars  Plot: 4 stars  Cliffhanger: No Would I recommend this book: Yes! When you want to read a feel good book that also deals with important social problems this is the book for you!  There is also a smoking hot guy and a beautiful, sexy woman that help one another heal the broken pieces of their hearts. Would I recommend this author: Yes! Ms. Grace is an intuitive writer that understands not only love but current issues in our world.  She brings warmth, honesty and laughter to her readers through her remarkable books. ***Received an ARC of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review***

The next in the Beachwood Bay series is another spectacular read. From the highs to the lows these characters pull you in and make you feel right along with them. Tegan and Ryland both have shadows in their past that they must overcome for happiness and are both scarred and wary. I couldn't help but feel for each one of them and want to see them find that happiness everyone should be lucky enough to experience. I kept looking at the page numbers and was sad to see how fast this book when and that they pages were dwindling fast. When you find a great series with likable characters the pages always go too fast and this was no exception. If you haven't read the previous books in this series I would highly recommend you read them all. Looking forward to the next installment in the Beachwood Bay series.
