Until Death Do Us Part, Vol. 2 by Hiroshi Takashige

Protecting Haruka from Ex Solid has gotten Mamoru involved in an even more sinister plot, organized by the terrorist group known as the Plunderers. The swordsman's reckless tactics generate results, but they have also attracted the attention of the terrorists' leader, Edge Turus. Mamoru's allies in the Wall and the very people who hired him begin to fear that Mamoru's methods are too extreme and could endanger those around him, including Haruka herself. Meanwhile, the police are connecting the dots between Haruka's abduction and the recent string of attacks. As they and Edge close in, it may only be a matter of time before Mamoru has nowhere to run!

I don't know if its the pacing, the art style, characters or story, but I'm liking the series so far. Or all the above. Even though I'm only on the second volume.

This is not your typical manga. It's better! It's like reading an action film. The art is spot on and detailed from the weapons to the backgrounds. Diverse characters and action drive the story forward. And the story develops between the panes, so it's not dumbed down or boringly doled out and explained to the reader. This guy and his team are highly talented. I like the size of the books, too. They're not the typical "read in an hour" manga. These can easily be drawn out and fully enjoyed between the art, the story, and character development. It's awesome.

Great story, love the moving action artwork it adds so much to the story. Moving the furniture around in Mamoru's room, gee she was only trying to clean up. Funny, action packed, touching and just plain good.
