Sweet and engaging. I immediately connected with the characters. Gwen is caring, attentive, loving and oh so hurt by her past. She doesn't trust men especially with her heart. John manages to sweep her away and slowly fixes all the little broken pieces of her. She in turn fixes his relationship with his daughter. Helping him overcome the awkwardness and language barriers that they have. Lovely ending. Adult read

The only way to improve this book is if it were a vowel instead of a novella. Normally when I discover a book is short I don't even bother...but this was worth it! Love this author and series!

I love Christmas stories! This one definitely doesn't disappoint. John Sheldon met Gwen Chambers at an auction. He and his teammates were to be auctioned off to earn money for several local charities. He wasn't looking forward to it at all until he saw Gwen walk in. The first thing he noticed about her was her height. Finally a woman that he could stand next to without feeling like a giant. He was instantly attracted to her and hoped to get to know her. Gwen Chambers has always felt out of place even with her family. She was too tall and all of her life had been teased because of it. Standing next to John made her feel almost normal. If only she could get past being so nervous around him, but after her past she found it extremely difficult to trust others especially men. An auction date might be a strange way to have a first date, but John was going to make sure that Gwen wouldn't be disappointed if her bid was the winning bid because he found her perfect. This series is definitely worth reading by Kat Latham! I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

Another great addition to the London Legends series! I loved getting to know Gwen and John better, but the ending seemed a bit rushed even though there was an epilogue.

Seductive Storyline: UNWRAPPING HER PERFECT MATCH is Kat Latham’s first holiday installment in her contemporary, adult London Legends romance series focusing on the members of the professional rugby players of the London Legends. This is six-nine rugby player John Sheldon and nurse Gwen Chambers’s storyline.  Told from third person point of view, the storyline focuses on the building relationship between John and Gwen, one that began at a charity auction where Gwen ‘bought’ John for 5,000 pounds. Gwen is Tess Chambers’s sister (Playing It Close book 2), a nurse and a woman whose history with personal betrayal will hit too close to home when John makes a side bet with his teammate Matt Ogden about who would raise the most money. When Gwen only catches a part of the exchange, she immediately becomes defensive and retreats back to the years that had all but destroyed her life. It will take a young ten year old girl, a holiday filled with wonder and imagination,  and the love of a good man, to show Gwen that not every man is after the same thing. The relationship between Gwen and John is one of immediate attraction but one rife with misunderstandings and fragile ego. John’s future with Gwen and the team is in question, and when John announces his plans, Gwen once again finds herself on the sidelines, hurt and wondering where it all went wrong. The sex scenes are intimate, emotional and intense. UNWRAPPING HER PERFECT MATCH is another moving and seductive storyline from Kat Latham. Some of the previous storyline characters play a secondary role for a sense of familiarity and cohesion. The storyline timeline occurs three months after the events in book 3 but prior to the epilogue advancement.  Each member of the team will find his happily ever after but getting there will not always be easy.

I cannot believe this author would ruin a good story with such foul language. The F*** word came up so often, I could barely get through it. I only finished the book because the story line was a good one and the characters were believable, (except for the language). I will NOT purchase a book from this author EVER AGAIN! Too bad since she shows such promise. I will also be deleting this book from my collection.

The story itself was cute but the language was a bit much and not really necessary to the story. Too many "f" words for my taste.

Good story line. I was going to say the same thing about the swearing-it's not needed. I felt the ending was rushed.

This book had a nice story line, but there was so much unnecessary foul language in it that it detracted from the sweetness of the story. It seems authors lately think the only way to get good reviews is to fill the page with bad language. What happened to the truism that foul language is just showing a person's ignorance and lack of intelligence?

Loved this story of 2 super sized shy, lonely people.

Gwen is tall and a nurse and doesn't feel like she belongs around others. John is a rugby player who she bids on at a charity event. John later shows up in Gwen's ER with a concussion and doesn't have anyone to care for him after he goes home. Can the magic of Christmas bring this couple together??

The story of this book was really good. I would've of rated it a five star. However, I hated how rushed the ending was. Instead of Gwen thinking of what she wanted to say, it would of been nice to read her saying it instead.
