Short but packs a punch! Samantha never understood why she didn't fit with all the other hunter/huntresses. Just because she was an orphan shouldn't make a difference. Until one day, a vampire shows up. Ralston told her he has waited for her for 24 years for the right time. How can this be? A tale of intrigue, finding oneself and in the process finding love.

It was well written, the plot was well done. I do agree in that it should have fleshed out the story a little more. Giveing more of the background for Samantha and explaining how Ralston came to know her history would have helped readers embrace the story a little easier.
