This book examines the lives of Eleanor Roosevelt and Marian Anderson. These were two amazing women who grew up in completely different surroundings but who were both subjected to teasing, ridicule, and exclusion. Even with the magnitude of conflicts these women were subjected to, they overcame the hardships and worked to create a world that values every human being.
