Overview

Dear Taron,
I should have told you this a long time ago...

Dear Taron,
Is there a time-limit on forgiveness?
If there is, I haven't reached it...

Dear Taron,
I still love you...

A letter never sent.
Heck, I never even finished it.

Taron Rhodes was my brother's best friend.
He was sexy as sin.
But he was more than that...
He was ponytail-pulling, ice down your shirt teasing, throw you in the lake screaming...
Strong, tanned arms and blue-green eyes over a heart-stopping, naughty grin...
Did I mention his tight end?
I gave him my first real kiss, my heart, my everything.
I said I'd wait for him...

I'm still waiting, because Taron Rhodes is still the man of my dreams,
And I have a secret that has his blue-green eyes.

Noel LaGrange stole my heart when she was only eighteen—pushing me off a flatbed and calling me a city slicker.
Her brother Sawyer would kick my ass if he knew how many times we made out that summer, how close we got.

Everything changed when Sawyer and I joined the military.
We were honorably discharged, but I didn't go to her.
Instead, I went back to the city... where no amount of money, no amount of pills can heal this wound.
Only her whiskey eyes and dark hair, her slim arms and her sweet scent, give me hope.
I broke her heart just as surely as I broke mine, but I'm going back to make it right.
If she's still waiting...

(WAIT FOR ME is a STAND-ALONE small-town, second-chance romance. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)

Tia Louise is one of my all time favorites. I feel the same surge of excitement every single time when her new release hits the shelves. Wait for Me is one of the best small town second chance romances with a brother's best friend I've read all year. Miss Louise catapults you right into that peach farm with a family working through a harvest all while two teenagers fall in love, in secret. This brings me back to simple days spent outside... sweet and innocent, until it's not. I feel like I could talk for ages about this book, about the characters, about first loves that last a life time. I could be feeling sentimental since I haven't seen my other half in weeks but Wait for Me made me yearn for my man. Tia Louise writes a story that makes you remember those first loves and the pain of the heartbreak that inevitably follows. Then finding your place next to that special person after so much. Sigh... this story just screams love and forgiveness. My aching heart could barely take Miss Louise's exquisite words that poked at my heart from first to last words. I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

5 star Review Wait For Me by Tia Louise There was nothing I didn’t love about Wait for Me. This was a great read and one of my favourites of 2019.  This is a second chance at love story that will draw you in and captivate you from the first to the last chapter. I have been intrigued with Taron since he appeared in Boss of Me and I couldn’t wait for his story and I was not disappointed in any way.   Taron Rhodes, oh what a man, he’s brooding, a man struggling with PTSD, an alpha and he ticked all the boxes for me. Noel LaGrange is the perfect heroine for Taron, she is feisty, strong, sassy and not afraid to stand up to him when it is needed. Noel should have been off limits, after all her brother is his best friend and yet there was something so intense between them that they took the risk. Until he and Sawyer, joined the military, left town and broke their hearts in the process. Now Taron is finally returning home, will Noel still be waiting for him? Or has she forgotten him and moved on? Throughout this story, Tia Louise kept me absolutely on the edge of my seat as I read and cheered for Taron and Noel to get their happily ever after. An entertaining read that was also smoking hot and emotional. I loved how we were able to read about the history of their love and how it came to be, it added an additional layer to the story as we saw them grow and how the past impacted their lives. Such was the strength of the writing and the fabulous characters, I was so engrossed in Taron and Noel’s story that before I knew it I had read until the early hours of the morning,   There were plenty of swoon worthy moments throughout Wait for Me as well as some drama and angst. This book is a little gem and I loved it.

Honestly it started out a little bit that I wasn't sure whether I'd be into it. But once the story really got started, our couple met each other and finally gave in to their attraction, I was hooked. This was a very sweet and easy read, until the point where things went in a totally different direction than I had expected. A direction that left me with tears streaming down my face, and even though I had an inkling what would come next, I loved the way the author did that part of the story. The characters were great, there wasn't really anything that happened that is one of my usual frustrations. No one held out for too long for stupid reasons. Everyone was very justified or had good reasons for what they did, even when what they did sucked. The family and friends in the story were so great that I was pleased to read at the end of the book that some of them will be getting their own books, or maybe have a book out there already. The story was also suitably steamy enough for my tastes, even if there wasn't a ton of that in the story, it was right where it was needed.

I fell in love with this book and completely in love with Taron. I was so excited to read about Taron after seeing him in Boss Of Me. I wanted to know his story and man oh man did Tia deliver! This story was so beautiful and so heartbreaking at the same time. I loved Taron and Noel's relationship, it was dreamworthy and I was so nervous knowing they were going to be pulled apart. All Noel wanted was Taron, Taron didn't believe he deserved her. The hurt and pain both Noel and Taron go through is heartwrenching, I could feel everything they felt and it broke my heart. Will Taron save Noel like he promised? Will Noel wait for Taron? The secondary characters were all so enjoyable to read about, I loved them all! Tia does an amazing job not just writing main characters you'll love, but secondary characters too. They make you want to know more about them and you will hope she'll write their story as well! Dove stole my heart and I'm excited to see Sawyer is getting his own book next year! I cannot wait for that book and anything else that Tia decides to write because everything she writes is gold!

Fabulous 2nd chance romance. Wait for Me is the second in this new series of connected standalones by Tia Louise. I say connected because some characters from the first book show up here too, but you don’t necessarily need to have read it before this one- although you should, just because, Boss Of Me is that good!!! Wait For Me is a second chance romance that’s set in the same world as ‘Boss of Me’, obviously, lol. You can always count on Tia Louise’s amazing storytelling and it is displayed well here. This is Taron and Noel’s story. After having enlisted in the Marines with three of his best friends and completed their basic training the four now have some time off before being deployed, so Taron is spending the summer at Sawyer’s farm. Sawyer lives with his younger sister, Noel, who has just finished high school. Noel loves the peach farm and intends to make it even better once she finishes with college. She’s not prepared for how she feels when Taron steps into the farmhouse and into her life. Everything changes in that moment, but Noel has no idea just how much it will continue to do so. This was an angsty, at times heart-breaking story, but just when I thought I couldn’t take any more, Tia made it all better. Taron and Noel are a sweet couple who compliment one another well. I loved reading their story even if it did wreck me in places. Fate drew them together, then tore them apart can circumstances bring them full circle and mend both of their broken hearts? Can untold secrets and missed chances be turned on their heads. Will there be true forgiveness? One-Click today and you won’t have to Wait For me, to tell you.

Oh my gosh! This is one of the most charming, sincere, sometimes painful, second chance stories I’ve ever read! ’I didn’t know which way love would take me, quietly or with the roar of a freight train. I should’ve known. I should’ve realized the moment I saw him.’ I absolutely adored Noel! She was smart and witty and extremely loyal to her family as well as Taron...once he won her heart. Determined to make her dreams come true, as well as proving herself to her brother, she worked hard to turn those hopes into reality. While she was dedicated to her chosen occupation, she remained soft, sweet, caring. Taron never expected to find the woman for him while helping his friend out in his peach orchard. But when Noel falls into his arms, he knows immediately that is exactly where she belongs. However, he doesn’t run roughshod over her to get what he wants. His slow, easy wooing of her was perfectly romantic in every way. I loved Taron even when life threw him down a hole that he couldn’t get out of, a hole he chose to hide in. ’Heaven is finding the thing you can’t live without and being able to hold it. Hell is knowing you’ll have to let it go.’ But I fell completely into adoration with him when he not only emerges from that place, but sets out to win his girl back, and then finds himself dancing with Angelina Ballerina. I’m sure my ovaries dried up years ago but Taron and Dove together were enough to bring them roaring back to life. TMI? Sorry, but nothing is more swoon worthy than a big brawly man with a tiny delicate little girl who calls him “Daddy”. While this couple do have years of separation between them, and there is definitely moments of angst, it doesn’t consume the whole story. This is quite simply a beautiful story of first love and second chances. ’I’ve learned that love is a tornado, destructive and fierce and powerful. It’s also a butterfly, soft, gentle, beautiful. But to get to the butterfly, you must go through the tornado.’

Starts with a prologue about Noel what happened to her in the past. ( I had tears after reading this section). Then you learn about Taron and what is happening with him. It took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions! The story drew me in and I could not put it down till I finished it! I highly recommend this Book!!!!!!

Another amazing stand alone romance by Tia Louise. Taron and Noel, what an amazing story, their meeting was coincidence but that changed Taron's life and turn it completely. Being Sawyer's sister has them keeping their relationship a secret, but Taron has to leave soon, would she wait for him... A must read, such a beautiful story.

Summer love has lasting repercussions for two strangers that had only just begun. I had high hopes for Wait for Me and Taron and Noel proved to be everything I thought they would be. Louise takes the heart on an emotional rollercoaster ride that can sometimes feel like sensory overload, but once you start the ride, your heart refuses to let go. From hello to goodbye, it's a long, turbulent, angst filled road to where these strangers were meant to be, but by journey's end, you may want to take the trip all over again.

Tia Louise has given us a beautiful and poignant story about true love, everlasting love and overcoming heartbreak to be together again. Taron knew the moment he saw Noel in her kitchen that she was special and deserved to be treated like a princess. She was an angel to him when he needed one the most, and he knew she was made for him. He tried not to fall for her because he was being deployed soon, but he hoped Noel would wait for him because he vowed to come back to her. Their courtship was magical, romantic and innocently passionate. Taron wanted to know everything about Noel’s life and he was her biggest cheerleader. He knew Noel would be successful in anything she pursued and he wanted to be by her side when she did it. He could see a life with Noel on the orchard and nothing would stop him. But what if something did? No one can predict the future, but Taron knew in his heart that Noel was his future and the answer to his prayers. He was coming for her, and he hoped that she would welcome him and give him a second chance.

Wait for Me is a stand alone romance by the amazing Tia Louise. Every one of her books continues to amaze me and this book did just that. The hero you will meet, Taron, was introduced in the previous book, Boss of Me, but it is not required that you read it. Taron Rhodes wants to do something to make a difference in the world. So, he and his three best friends, Sawyer, Patton and Marley joined the marines. They are just out of basic and have a few weeks off before they report back. So Taron has gone home with Sawyer to his peach grove to help with the summer harvest. He’s looking forward to the peace and quiet, to the beautiful countryside.. But when he walked into that farmhouse kitchen and saw her standing there, Sawyer’s younger sister, everything stopped. And instantly, his reason for living changed. Noel LaGrange is eighteen years old and has just finished high school. She’s getting ready to start college and has big ideas on ways to use the peaches on her and her brother’s farm. Noel loves her life and knows it will always be here, among the peaches. The day Taron walked into her kitchen, she couldn’t believe how beautiful he was. And when he spoke, his voice curled around her like a warm blanket. She knew this man would be important to her. She just didn’t know how much. “If you ever need saving, I want to save you.” “And I’ll save you back.” During their short time together, Taron and Noel fall fast and hard. They try to keep their feelings secret. They don’t know how Sawyer would react. And, they just want to keep the beautiful feelings they share to themselves. But the day fast approaches when Taron has to leave. Their love is real and Noel knows she will wait for him as long as it takes for him to come back to her. “This is what heaven must be like. Heaven is finding the thing you can’t live without and being able to hold it. Hell is knowing you’ll have to let it go.” Noel and Taron keep in touch constantly until something happens that changes everything. Taron and his friends are discharged honorably but he can’t return to Noel. Instead he goes back to Nashville to work for Patton. He’s not the man Noel deserves. He’s not the man he used to be. This is such a beautiful book. It’s a story of finding the one you are destined to be with. Just when you think things can’t be any better, the bottom is dropped out of everything. But that’s the beauty of true love, finding your way back. Taron will have to earn back Noel’s trust, her love. But he is determined to do whatever it takes, to be the man he should be for her. Once you pick this up, you’re not going to want to put it down. Tia has such a beautiful way of telling her stories. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

A second chance, emotional romance, unlike any other you will read. Right from the beginning of Wait For Me Tia drenches you in big feelings. Her words rolled over me and I was completely drowned in Noel and Taron's story. I knew immediately I did not want to be revived until the very last page was turned and trust me, the ups and downs of this story were so worth losing myself in one entire sitting. From the very beginning you get the sense that Noel and Taron will fall in love and you know there will be heartbreak. What you don't know is the magnitude of emotions that are going to hit you and the depth of which these two people truly love one another until you read it for yourself. Noel and Taron have a young love - all encompassing - can't think of anything else - whirlwind kind of romance. They go into it with their eyes wide open knowing that Taron is leaving for the marines, but neither have ever felt these kind of powerful feelings before so they decide to wait for each other, even knowing the danger he is embarking upon. Even as they stay connected through today's means of technology and through older means of letter writing and gift boxes, the terrible happens and they both are changed forever. I will leave the rest of the anticipation for what Wait For Me entails because you need to read this story yourself and get swept away like I did. Wait For Me is both a story that is heartwarming and gut wrenching. It is filled with so many emotions that will pull at every heart string and keep you enraptured until the very last page.
