Wait till Your Vampire Gets Home (Broken Heart Series #4) by Michele Bardsley

A woman finds out that while it's one thing to date a single father with emotional baggage, it's quite another to date one who’s dead in this Broken Heart novel...

It’s only because of my work as a paranormal investigator that I, Libby Monroe, ended up in a town like Broken Heart, Oklahoma, chasing down bizarre rumors of strange goings-on—and finding vampires, lycanthropes, and zombies.  Oh my!

I never expected to fall in lust, but Ralph Genessa is too irresistible. Being a vampire, he should be, but for some reason, his glamour doesn’t work on me. The fact that he’s the loving, sexy father of twin toddlers is what wins me over. And you know what they say, home is where the heart is. Only this town is being torn in two by a war between the undead—and I may be the only thing that can hold Broken Heart together...

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Broken Heart or Mother Vampire Series (as I like to call it) but this one was the best (so far). In the first book the author introduces the characters, the story of broken heart and manages to squeeze in a hot connection. In the second book we see Broken Heart from another citizen who inevitably develops a bond with the outcast in BH and finds a cure to the deadly vampire disease going around. In the third book, the author takes the story a completely new direction with a new obstacle and introduces the new queen. Before reading the fourth book I was considering that this author must be running out of things to talk about but she didn't disappoint. In this book, a new paranormal is added to the scene along with an intense animal magnetism between the new couple. Between the introduction of a dragon and the intensity of the new relationship, this was an awesome book. I am very pleased with this series for the fact that while it is based in the same place there is always something new happening in this town. I have already pre-ordered the next book and can't wait for it to come out. Love it!

I had a hard time making myself put this book down to go to bed! As I did with her other books. Michele gives a really great, funny, sarcastic humor to her charachters that closely resemble my own family and friends. Not a whole lot in the "hot & heavy" area like there was in "I'm The Vampire, That's Why", but it was still a really good book. I love how she has brought in the Dragons to the mix. The part about the dragon tattoos getting the red line through them the morning after was just great! Too funny! If it were only that easy in real life. I defintely recommend this book! It's a fantastic read for all to enjoy!

Silly, snarky, and altogether entertaining, "Wait till Your Vampire Gets Home" is Michele Bardsley's latest about Broken Heart, OK. Broken Heart is a paranormal town. When some infected vampires got loose and attacked 11 townspeople, the 'Constortium' bought the town, encouraged the normals to move and helped the new vampires transition into their new life and new jobs. Since then, things just keep getting weirder and now Bardsley has added dragons to the mix!

If you like your paranormal romance with liberal doses of sarcasm and laugh out loud humor, this is one series you don't want to miss.
