Overview

Youngest Field Sister Thyme is marrying Victor in the sixth book in the rollicking, romantic mystery series by USA Today bestselling author Melissa F. Miller!

Thyme has her doubts about having a wedding. She's sure about marrying Victor. But after her two older sisters' weddings, she's not expecting the big day to go smoothly.

She also isn't expecting ... this.

When Thyme applies for a marriage license, she's denied. It turns out her name has been entered into the Social Security Administration's Death Index, the official master file of dead people. And while dead men tell no tales, dead women can't get married, book flights, or access their bank accounts.

Thyme, Sage, and Rosemary set off with their men to find out who really died ... and why she was using Thyme's name. It'll take a lot of luck and loads of ingenuity to clear Thyme's name so she can walk down the aisle and take Victor's.

Join the sisters for a madcap wedding adventure with plenty of surprises.

About the Author

USA Today bestselling author Melissa F. Miller is a former attorney who traded the practice of law for the art of telling stories.

As a lawyer, she clerked for a federal judge; practiced in the offices of major international law firms; and ran a two-person law firm with her lawyer husband. Now, powered by coffee, she writes crime fiction and homeschools her three children. When she's not writing, and sometimes when she is, she travels around the country in an RV with her husband, kids, and cat.

She is the author of more than two dozen bestselling legal thrillers, suspense thrillers, romantic comedic mysteries, and forensic thrillers. All her work shares two common threads: pulse-pounding, tightly plotted action and smart, unlikely heroines and heroes.

Just when Thyme thought she had dodged the bad luck both Rosemary and Sage went through for their weddings Thyme learns there is no dodging bad luck. This was a fantastic read that gets you right from the beginning and wow when the "No" was thrown out there I was like "What?!?!" but that's just the beginning of things that will have you shaking your head, questioning the sanity of some people and looking at being invited to product parties differently. These 3 sisters and their amazing men (and dog!) crack me up with the situations they get into and then the layers of mystery just make this a fantastic read!

I was privileged to receive an advance reader copy of "Wanted Wed or Alive" with a request that I give an honest review. I enjoy Ms Miller's books and this was no exception. Thyme, the third of "We Sisters Three" finally gets a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Victor but hesitates to agree to a wedding ceremony. She remembers the chaos that preceded the weddings of her two older sisters. Rather than risk that kind of scenario she agrees to elope and get married in Las Vegas What could go wrong with that? As only Ms Miller can do, she creates a memorable time of troubles. Wonderful reading and even includes Pachelbel's Canon in D which I found very apropos. All in all a 5 star story and a perfect sequel to the weddings of Thyme's sisters, Rosemary and Sage.

WANTED WED OR ALIVE by Melissa Miller Having read about the other sisters weddings, one knew that Thyme’s wouldn’t go smoothly. A great unusual plot, and one wonder’s what one could do about it, Starting with Thyme turned down his proposal, while they were on an amazing vacation together. What reason did she have and now talking to the clerk, for a marriage license and him saying she was deceased. To clear it, would be a nightmare, and with an ending they will be wishing they both were dead. . The author has given us a story you want to read, to the end in a sitting. Full of surprises, mishaps, and mayhem. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

All poor Thyme wanted was a disaster-free wedding, unlike the ones her two sisters had. But finding out she is apparently deceased puts a bit of a dampener on things. Following the limited clues they can find, Thyme, Victor and family discover the reason Thyme is "dead" is far from anything they could have expected. Love these characters and their bonds, makes for such a fun read. This series is great, taking you along for the ride as each sister gets their happy ever after.
