"We Conqueer or Die" is the motto of Terry's Texas Rangers as they become the finest cavalry unit on both sides of the Civil War. The hero, Matt Jorgensen, meets Steve Andrews, a deputy sheriff in Nacogdoches, Texas and after they bring a killer down, they are faced with joining the Confederacy and become part of the Civil War.
