There are a lot of things to love about this story: the characters are incredibly three-dimensional and really come alive (my personal favourite is the loveable rogue, Keith), the premise is unique and well-executed despite its complexity, and the descriptions of the alternate worlds are amazing. Characters, setting, plot, all done incredibly well. And then there's the ending - wow - one of the most unique climaxes I've ever read! Recommended for people who like their books a little on the fantastical side and a lot on the creepy side.

For a first effort, this was a great read. I would highly recommed this for fans of fantasy or science fiction books. The writer describes her characters so well that the reader can visualize their appearance. If you like Stephen King and early Dean Koontz, you will like this book.
